Title: Great cell phone call/text alert amplifier
Review: This seems to work well. I bought it for my aging parents who can’t hear well. Now they can now hear their cell phone and when they get a text they hear that too. I highly recommend if you have elderly parents who do not seem to remember to check their phone or can even hear it ring. Mine seem to be enjoying it. It also lights up, so not only is it louder but now they see it light up , so that’s really nice. Also it was super easy to set up. Pro tip: place this device right in front of their TV, so they’ll see as they watch TV. So when it goes off they see it light up and they hear it. Sp now we actually can get in contact with them. WIN!!

Title: A Lifesaver for My Dad!
Review: This phone ringer amplifier is an absolute game-changer for my dad! He used to miss so many calls, but the loud ringer and bright flashing lights make it impossible to miss a call now. The Bluetooth was so easy to set up, and the 3 adjustable modes are perfect. He also says the “speaking directly” feature makes calls so much clearer. A fantastic, much-needed device. A definite 5-star product!

Title: Adequate for some but has quirks.
Review: It connects easily to my phone and that’s a good point. But it has several irritating quirks for those who are primarily deaf and not hard-of-hearing. One is you cannot stop the flashing light by pushing a button on the unit. You have to use your phone to read the text message or other methodology such as simply unplugging the device which is irritating. Secondly, the flashing light is only really visible in the dark. If it flashes and I’m in the same well lit room (natural light) I won’t see it unless I’m looking directly at the unit. A much more bright light is needed to function as a notification device! I don’t know if the sound is adequate for hearing people as I can’t hear enough and would never be able to hear it if more than 5 feet away and not wearing my hearing aids. So I can’t comment on that. But I docked it 2 stars for not having a defeat button on the unit and another 2 stars for not having an adequately bright light for the deaf in a naturally lit room.

Title: Gave Our Elderly Family Member the Ability to Use Her Phone Again
Review: Requested this for an elderly family member living in care, but still has access to her phone. We noticed her reply times were getting worse and thought she was mentally getting worse, but as it turned out, some of her hearing was going (not all) and she simply couldn’t hear her phone’s alerts, the ear speaker for talking to people, etc.. At that age with her issues, they’re pretty “prideful” and don’t like asking for help so we never knew.Saw this, thought it might be a long shot, but just in case her reluctance to use the phone has more to do with hearing, going to grab this and see if it helps. Not only is this thing easy to set up initially, it’s easy enough to use after that even she can connect it when she needs to, and it completely solved her problems. It all just works really well for connecting to the phone, and then amplifying the phone so she can hear it.

Title: LOUD like it should be!
Review: You know exactly who the target audience is…Even the instructions — which are refreshingly well written as opposed to the poorly translated English that is for too common — are physically enormous with a large typeface. The audio volume provided by this item is as oversized as its instruction sheet. You can definitely hear it across the house. Maybe even across the street. However, I don’t think its microphone is very sensitive, or very clear. There’s some room for improvement.Everyone — and I mean everyone — who leapt across the room to silence its superloud ringing pressed the wording ACCEPT or DECLINE, and not the adjacent button to the lettering. I know there’s an arrow right next to those words, but that didn’t help. I’m not even sure a bigger arrow would help. So why not increase the actual button size to encompass the words ACCEPT and DECLINE?Lastly, ending the call from the calling side while the item was still ringing did not end the (very loud) ringing. That had to be manually done by tapping the buttons NEXT to “ACCEPT” or “DECLINE”.Other than those usability issues, this was definitely a step in the right direction for this niche.

Title: Nice for someone who doesn’t like holding their phone.
Review: Very good item for hard of hearing or people who don’t like holding their phone. I have this plugged in on a side table. It connects with Bluetooth so it can be used without picking up the phone. Very easy to assemble, connect, and use. You can turn it off by disconnecting the Bluetooth. The only downside is that it only works to answer and refuse phone calls. Doesn’t work on any other cell phone functions. No amplification for video calls, no reading texts aloud. I wish it was more useful than just to answer or decline speakerphone calls.

Title: Awesome Bluetooth Cell Phone Speakerphone
Review: This is just what I’ve needed. When I get home I empty my pockets onto the dressor and leave them there. So when my cell phone rings I may or may not hear it if I am at the other end of the house or in the basement. With this device I can hear my cell phone ringing throughout the house, and being able to answer the cell phone from this device and talk on the built in speakerphone keeps me from having to run through the house trying to get to the cell phone before the answering service kicks in. This device works very well and will help keep me from missing calls.
