Title: Handy
Review: Handy little lighted magnifying glass. The lens is nice and clear, and the LED is more than adequate at lighting the field of view.

Title: Handy and functional
Review: My husband goes to a lot of estate and yard sales, and he has poor vision. This is a perfect little gadget that he can keep handy for looking in boxes and reading small print.

Title: Great little magnifying glass with light for on-the-go needs
Review: I’m now in my mid-50s and despite living decades without needing vision correction, I now find fine print to be a struggle. I got this OttLite pocket LED magnifier to have on hand when I can’t read tiny print. What I like:* It clips to my bag or can slide into a pocket in my purse. It’s small and thin, but not too small or too thin to worry about losing or breaking it.* The light turns on when I rotate the magnifier from the cover, then turns off when I rotate it back into the cover. I don’t have to worry about a button getting pressed accidentally in my purse to turn on the light and run down the battery. The light only comes on if I want it to come on.* The cover protects the plastic magnifying glass.* Serves multiple purposes…. not just for reading small print. My daughter used it to pluck my eyebrow hairs! I could also see using this for threading the needle on my sewing machine.* I appreciate that I can replace the batteries when they die instead of having to throw out the entire product.Things to consider:* The magnifying is fairly decent but covers just a small area. I won’t be able to read a full book using this, but I can use it to see small amounts of fine print and to take care of quick tasks like threading a needle.

Title: Handy little thing
Review: For those of us that are finding it a little harder and harder to read all the fine print on just about everything out there these days, this is a handy little device to have around. It’s very light, and fits easily into a pocket (or bag or whatever) without knowing its there until you need it. The magnifying glass flips out, and the light comes on automatically when it does, which really helps when trying to read that small print — and shuts off automatically when you close it. It comes with a small carabiner which is a little on the cheap side but serves the purpose for this small object. It says “Not for Climbing” on it…and I highly recommend anyone follow that instruction! The only reason that I knocked off one star is because of the light. It’s very good, but it shines through pretty brightly on the side that you look through (as well as what you are looking at), and it is a little distracting. Not terrible, but it’s a slight annoyance. But that wouldn’t keep me from buying this. I think it’s a pretty good value.

Title: Handy Vision Anytime and with a Light!
Review: This is a handy little magnifying glass. I keep it in my pocket and sometimes I lend it to my wife and she keeps it in her purse. Gives enough magnification and is small enough to bring anywhere. I like that the light turns on when you open up the magnifying glass. Not sure of the battery life yet, but being an LED it should last for a long time.

Title: Squintin’, Stumblin’, and Salvation: The Mighty OttLite That Fits in Your Pocket
Review: If you’ve ever found yourself squintin’ at fine print like you’re tryin’ to decode a secret message from a possum, or you’ve fumbled your house key like a blind armadillo on a moonless night, friend—welcome to the club. I don’t know who designs them itty-bitty menus and locks, but clearly they’ve never wrestled with bifocals after sunset. Now I ain’t the kind to tote around a flashlight like I’m auditionin’ for a fire department—or as my British buddies would say, “a torch,” bless their tea-sippin’ hearts—but this OttLite contraption? It’s a downright miracle wrapped in keychain-sized brilliance.Looks like a humble lil’ keyfob, but pull the magnifier halfway and it’s pure reading power. Give it a full yank and—bam!—the light pops on like a possum caught in headlights. No switches, no drama. When you’re done, fold it up and the light shuts off faster than a preacher changin’ the subject from sin. The battery’s savin’ juice like it’s got a coupon for eternity. And let’s talk about that carabiner. I’m clippin’ this sucker to my key ring like it’s the sheriff’s badge of visual justice. It joins the holy trinity of photo gadgets I already carry—white balance card, black card, and that trusty 18% gray that helps me wrangle the Zone System like a rodeo clown with a PhD.If you’re tired of squintin’, stumblin’, or settin’ your iPhone flashlight to “sad,” this OttLite’s the answer. Handy as a pocket on a shirt and smart as a fox with a flashlight—and it won’t call itself a “torch.”

Title: Ok flashlight, great magnifier
Review: This little Pocket LED Magnifier w/Carabiner Clip has already proven itself to be a lifesaver for me regarding my house keys. Although the actual flashlight feature is not the brightest, it still beats not having any kind of light at all to help you insert a key into your back door.I also find myself pulling out the magnifying lens part in order to read the fine print on packages inside the supermarket. I’m finding that feature to be extremely useful, as well.Since it’s so small, it doesn’t add a lot of bulk to my keychain, and it’s great knowing I have access to both magnification and light if/or when needed.Definitely a worth the very small investment you need to make in order to get one.
