Title: excellent quality, privacy, features, price
Review: Easily the best quality, privacy, and feature set, for a steal of a price. Incredibly light, battery efficient, boots/sleeps in seconds, easy on the eyes, and passable colors.NO accounts or online access is required. Pocketbook is headquartered in Switzerland and Ukraine, which may have better handling of privacy data than other countries. Per their privacy notice, it seems they only collect the bare minimum necessary, and only if you actually use their optional online services.Copying DRM-free ebooks is incredibly simple: connect to your computer via USB, and the Pocketbook shows up as an external drive. Copy any files/folders, then safe disconnect — the Pocketbook will automatically detect new books. Pocketbook library can be browsed via folder structure too, if you prefer to organize that way. Connecting via USB also exposes the underlying Linux file system, for tinkerers.Online transfers can be done via optional Dropbox, PocketBook Cloud, or Pocketbook’s email service. Using FTP via the browser is a private/account-free option.It has handled all EPUB, MOBI, PDF, and CBZ (comic) formats that I’ve tried so far with no issues. The Gallery function is also nice for viewing images and art. Even the browser is surprisingly capable, able to handle FTP and even YouTube. Videos are not very watchable due to low framerate, but it could work in an emergency.The only minor downside is that a Bluetooth audio device is necessary if you want to listen to music or audiobooks, but it’s not a huge deal. I recommend buying a flip cover to improve protection and handling.

Title: Best e reader I have owned
Review: I am absolutely in love with my Pocketbook Pro Color. It is my 3rd book reader. I have had a Nook and a Kindle previously and I am an avid reader. If you are someone who prefers devices where you have control and that are truly ad free this hits. I have wanted a pocketbook and finally made the switch. Plus no one can take your purchased books away(for whatever reason they feel necessary). Works beautifully for this nerdy girl. Highly recommend!

Title: Good ereader
Review: Absolutely love this ereader. This is the first one I’ve ever purchased but im mostly satisfied. I love having color. My only cons buying this are just that it is hard to find cute cases and no expandable storage, not compatible with 2or3 key page turner and the buttons I dont like how they feel . I just got a clear case and made an insert.

Title: Compact and easy to sideload
Review: I love the size and weight of the the Pocketbook Verse models – fits in the hand very comfortably and the buttons are in a great location for page turning.The new color layer dims the screen a bit but can be worked around once you turn on the frontlight. Color makes the covers pop and color images in some of the books I read looks great. Everyone has their own opinions on the color vs. b&w contrast but I personally don’t mind it that much.Pocketbook’s built in store is pretty useless if you’re in the US – it is one of the first things I moved off the quick access bar. However, the system is practically built for sideloading so purchasing epubs from Kobo/Google Play Books/Etc and easily transfer them over with a computer or via email with Send-To-Pocketbook. Another bonus is that this model has usb-C OTG capabilities so the 16gb isn’t that much of a limitation as long as you have a flash drive. The black and white Verse Pro does not have this capability.I also love how Pocketbook allows you to look directly at your folder structure so organization can be as simple as creating folders/subfolders on the computer and drag/dropping everything into place.Edit: Added photos to compare the screen of the Verse Pro to Verse Pro Color (Verse Pro Color on the right in the photos). First photo has no backlight on, second is with the Verse Pro Color’s backlight on about 33%.

Title: Works great
Review: Really liked it at first but after a couple of weeks of use the flaws really became apparent. The start up time is nearly 2 minutes and it will randomly reboot itself and loose all reading progress. Also getting anything transfered onto it is a nightmare it refuses to connect to the pc half the time

Title: Best ereader for me
Review: Small enough to easily carry anywhere, but it’s jam-packed with so many features you’ll get your money’s worth. I love that it’s colored and that it can easily be paired with almost all BT speakers, although I just had a slight problem with some BT page turners.

Title: Not ready for prime time.
Review: My initial testing has not been encouraging. First, the store wants to sell me books in German, not English. Second, the device struggles with some epub books. It did fine with books downloaded from Gutenberg, a free site for old classic books. It could not handle the formatting challenges of the Oxford classics. You get pages in a tiny font. If you increase the font size, it doesn’t make a difference. Also, it could not format pages so you could read the whole page. It’s like an old Linux browser with tiny pages that are not complete. This device is not a competitor to the Kindle, not even in the same league.

Title: I like it.
Review: Great alternative to the Kindle. Holds battery life for a really long time. Very lightweight and easy to carry around. I got the origami cover for it and I really like it. The resolution isn’t that great for graphics, but I don’t read a whole lot of comic books on as small device as this.

Eğer ben farklı formatlar kullanmıyorum, sadece cihazın sağladığı kitaplar, mangalar benim için yeterli diyorsanız BU ÜRÜNÜ ALMAYIN. Ancak, farklı formatlarda dokümanları farklı kanallardan edinip tek bir çatı altında toplayabilmek istiyorsanız, bu ürün tam SİZE göre. Kendi içinde çok fazla seçenek yok, ancak az önce söylediğim gibi ben zaten arşiv biriktiriyordum. Dropbox ile kullanım oldukça kolay ve konforlu. Bilgisayarınızdan dropboxa yüklediğinizde 30 saniyeden kısa süre içinde 100 ekitap eşzamanlandı. Arayüz kolay, dokunmatiğin yanında tuş olması benim için çok daha kullanışlı. Renkli özelliği de olduğu için manga okumak çok keyifli. Herhangi bir görüntü kaybı yaşanmıyor

Review: Para mí la mejor inversión del año.Calidad precio inmejorable. Se ve perfecto, lo he comparado con kobos de familiares a color y no tiene nada que envidiarles.Tiene una pantalla de 6 pulgadas, con Smart light. En algunos comentarios se quejan de como se ve la pantalla, pero en mi caso no tengo queja alguna, se ve perfectamente la pantalla carga sin problemas y de forma rápida.Acepta muchísimos formatos de texto, imágenes (yo pasé algunas del ordenador para poner la imagen que quería de fondo de pantalla) y audio libros.1GB de RAM y 16 GB de almacenamiento interno, algo que en mi caso tuvo mucho que ver a la hora de elegir este e-reader, ya que no cuentan muchos con esta característica.La batería es de 2100 mAh, con autonomía de un mes, cosa que corroboro, le he dado mucha matraca desde que lo compré y sin duda aún me sorprende lo mucho que aguanta la batería.El diseño es sencillo, ya que es todo negro, me gusta por qué no pesa mucho, algo a tener en cuenta a la hora de leer y sobretodo de transportar. Tiene 4 botones abajo, para apagar/encender, pasar página… Además de su pantalla táctil.Es resistente al agua, ya que se puede sumergir hasta 1’5 metros durante 30 minutos. En mi caso no lo he puesto a prueba, pero si lo he llevado a la playa y lo he lavado con un trapo húmedo y no he tenido problemas, aunque está bien saberlo por si tienes algún accidente leyendo en la bañera, playa, etc.Después de toda la información proporcionada, os aseguro que repetiría, para mí ha sido el mejor e-reader del mercado, ya que almenos en mi caso en oferta por 160€, tengo un e-reader con muy buenas características, una pantalla que se ve perfecta y encima a color, cuando los de otra marca te salen en mi opinión bastante caros para las funciones que ofrecen y más comparándolo con este.Y para l@s que os gusta subrayar a la hora de leer, tranquilos que tenéis esa opción, con diferentes colores y luego además de en la propia lectura, lo encontrareis todo almacenado en notas.Espero que sirva de ayuda y más gente se sume al PocketBook!!!
