Title: Does not work with on premise Outlook, cloud only services. Turned it into a media controller
Review: I was bummed to find out that on premise Microsoft Outlook was not supported. We have not migrated to Microsoft 365 yet so I was only able to test this with my personal gmail. I had to look for alternative use cases for the tablet. It does not have an audio out as it would be really nice to control media from it as well. It may be possible with a USB C to 3.5mm jack. It runs android 13 with the August 5th 2023 security patch. This means they are not actively keeping the software patched on this device even though its brand new. The interface is quite sluggish and feels underpowered. It’s likely adequate for its intended purpose but not much beyond. I am currently using it to cast music in my basement game room. Its a clean way to have a wall mount tablet. PoE power is a great add on feature to simplify the install and keep wires hidden.

Title: Works decently as a wall calendar tablet
Review: The smart home control panel is a touch screen android tablet equipped with inputs for many common home automation standards. The touch screen works well. I used it for accessing my Google calendar. Just remember that whatever you plan on running on this thing, it must be android.Another important point is that the tablet is powered by a DC adapter that must be plugged into a standard American 120 volt outlet. The tablet does have ports on the back to wire in sensors, but the DC adaptor needs a regular plug.The wall mount system looked robust to me. Cut a hole in the wall and put the unit in. There are fins on the back of the mounting system that hold the tablet into the wall. Please remember that you will still need a regular plug for the power cord.Lastly, I want to note that the 32 GB memory refers to the storage capacity, The amount of RAM it has is 4 GB.
