Take it to the laundry mat to wash in a commercial washer. It does not fit in a residential washing machine. It is very thin and very soft unlike regular carpet. I purchased extra thick padding for under it which works well. I also use the hand tool on my vacuum when I clean it because the suction from the vacuum is too strong.
