Title: Practical and Reliable Solution for Elderly Care
Review: I bought this portable urinal for my elderly father, and it’s been working very well. The long tube makes it easy for him to use without much movement, and the 2000 ml capacity means it doesn’t need to be emptied constantly. Title: Excellent product
Review: I purchased this for a gentleman that I am providing care for who recently had a stroke and is unable to get into his bathroom for the time being. His feedback so far has been excellent, and says that it is very easy to use and likes the versatility of being able to have it wherever he is sitting. The collection chamber hold quite a bit and does not tip or roll over which is great to prevent messes. The collection cup he says could be slightly bigger but not a dealbreaker. The cap that goes over it is reassuring as well so that nothing could potentially come back up through the hose if it was laid down. The hose is a decent length and liquid flows very easily down it to prevent it from collecting midway, it is not super Bendy, but it does work very well. Overall I would highly recommend.

Title: Helpful Hints?
Review: My husband has been using these for a couple years now and overall we are satisfied. Sure there are some flaws, but we find them manageable.1. Tipping – some have remarked that it tips over easily, especially when empty or not much in it. I solved this problem early on by putting about an inch of water in the bottom after emptying.2. Funnel Cap – we discarded those, as not very useful. Since hubbie has ALS, his hands are not so nimble anymore and it’s just easier. Neither of us are bothered by the smell, and I suspect that regular cleanings will help keep it less smelly.3. Cleaning – I use an acidic toilet bowl cleaner about every 2 weeks. I let the tank ‘soak’ for 10-15 minutes, occasionally shaking the 1/4 in around the sides and such. This cleans up the smell and removes the ‘deposits’ on the bottom. For the tube, I squirt a minimal amount in the funnel and swish that around, then add a bit of water and let sit in the hose for a few minutes. Note that we have 2 that we have been using for a year now, one by the bed and one in the family room (when we have no company 🙂 and they are emptied and rinsed daily. I have noticed no issues with my cleaning method. Using a brush is ridiculous on the odd angles.4. Leaking – since we both keep an eye on the tank, we don’t often have an issue. I keep the bedside one on a boot tray and slide it under the bed…and since this is the one that can get ‘ignored’, at least the tray contains the mess. Our previous one did have the hose break after a while, but no signs of any issues yet on these 2.5. Flow too slow? – I remember one comment about a younger man having a stream too fast for the item to handle…obviously most older men do not have this problem…but one suggestion I have is to make the pin hole in the cap of the tank larger. The flow is limited by the amount of air that can be displaced – I believe.Hope these hints help…lord knows our lives are complicated enough if we need to have a loved one use these!

Title: Great urinal
Review: This is my 5th time ordering this portable urinal which indicates how much it works for me. I throw away them after a year or until I break them by crushing them with a heavy box, etc. The tube will stain if you don’t make sure it’s clear & empty after each use but that’s not a product flaw it’s user error. I do wish it came in larger sizes.

Title: Trash product, hose cracks,bottle leaks…
Review: I will tell you that I rarely leave reviews. But this product is so terrible as a truck driver or even as somebody do not. I repeat, do not purchase this product. It is terrible. It is cheaply made the hoses crack even if you screw on the lid, the lid leaks, it sweats urine. The opening where you actually use the cup for urinate in always leaks from the bottom. It condenses on the top. It is just a piece of garbage if you want urine. Everywhere, at all times if you want something that’s gonna break. And you’re gonna have to keep cutting off the hose and making it shorter and shorter to use it. This terrible product is for you.Otherwise steer clear of this product

Title: A game-changer!
Review: This urinal has been a game changer for my disabled husband. I rinse it daily after I empty it, and once per week I soak it in a mild soap and oxyclean. I also bought a drain brush to get any stubborn residue out of the hose. It works beautifully!

Title: Leaking hose
Review: After reading other reviews l also experienced the same problem with the hose leaking the accordion design tends to crack causing the leak.I was able to find a bare fitting used for lawn sprinkler systems to work with the hose a little tight but no leaks after several weeks.Other than the hose leak I think that it is a good product l hope that the mgr.addresses this issue as it is being experienced my many people that have purchased this product
