Title: Support service
Review: I purchased my risinglink about 3 years ago and had 100% success. No problem and easy to set up. However, I did change my internet service from Verizon to T-mobile and had a little difficulty understanding how to set my T-mobile to a different frequency to match my risinlink. I reached out to customer support and within a day I had my answers and now up and working. Good product. Makes it nice when out of town, you know exactly when power is off or on.

Title: Product works Perfectly!
Review: Product is perfect. Rarely can I ever say that on here. I had a problem with my boat trickle charger. Rain kept tripping the GFI; and then I had a dead boat. Twice, in the first week, the Risinglink prevented disaster. It sent a text and an email, the power was out! Flawless. Beautiful boat ride was not missed..Easy set up. Green light tells u you power is on. Gizmo tells you when it goes out and when it comes back on. And the form factor is small enough to fit inside the covered small outlet box. Rarely does a product do exactly what its supposed to do. The thing simply works!

Review: This unit works great. I bought this monitor since our power is lost anytime you sneeze outside. I bought a different model before this one, and returned it as soon as I found out you needed to subscribe to a service. This one is easy to set up. Plug it in, find the SSID in the WiFi list, connect and enter an e-mail address and/or text number. Now the power company can’t deny power failures – I have an e-mail record of each failure to the second. Two suggestions. One, the alarm is VERY loud. You will know when the power goes out. I would not recommend plugging this into a bedroom, find a utility room or something. Second, it will need a WiFi connection to report. My WiFi cable modem is plugged into a UPS system, so it stays alive during a power failure. If you do not have a UPS, there are cable companies that provide WiFi modems that have their own battery backup built-in. Talk with your provider on how to keep the WiFi connection alive during a power failure.

Title: Impressive
Review: I’ve had this power failure alarm for 3 months. So far it has worked flawlessly. It was easy to set up and has warned me each time the power on that circuit failed. It helps that I have my internet modem and router connected to a backup UPS so the wifi stays up long enough to send the failure event to my phone message app. Not long ago, I had an internet failure that wreaked havoc on the wifi-enabled devices in my home. Once the situation was remedied, I was concerned that I would have to go thru the setup process again on my Risinglink alarm, but all it took was a power cycle of the alarm for it to reconnect to my wifi system.

Title: Looked Promising, But It Never Worked
Review: I was excited to try the Risinglink Power Failure Alarm (2nd Gen) because I really needed something reliable to alert me in the event of a power outage because our GFI for our freezer in our garage kept tripping — especially with features like text, email, and audio notifications.Unfortunately, it never worked. Despite following all the setup instructions and double-checking my network and device settings, I could never connect to get it to send alerts of any kind. The interface wasn’t very user-friendly either, and there’s little to no troubleshooting support included.For a device that’s supposed to provide peace of mind, this one just caused frustration. It was too late to return it and found another dependable solution.🧯 Used for: Power outage monitoring📉 Performance: Unreliable — didn’t function as advertised⚠️ Setup: Complicated and ineffective💸 Value: Not worth the cost

Title: This one actually works!
Review: I tried a different brand before this and had no luck with it. I decided to try this one, and it works perfectly. The instructions are very clear and detailed. The setup and configuration went off without a hitch. The next test was to see if it would work in garage, which is where I need it to be. The location of the device in the garage is about 35 ft from the router, which is separated by a fire-protected wall with a lot of utilities and appliances in the area. I ran 5 different tests from this location, and quickly received power off/on alerts in all cases (both email and text). I also like the fact that it has a audible alarm that can be completely disabled. The bright green LED is a great visual indicator that power is on. Overall, I highly recommend this device as a power failure detector. Hopefully, over time it will continue to function as well as it is right now.

Review: Great product. Really easy to setup and does exactly what’s intended. Currently protecting a garage freezer plugged into GFCI outlet. Was able to get the initial alerts through both SMS text and email that the setup was complete and the monitor was running properly.
