Title: Good price, does what it says, comfortable and a warranty
Review: The Pro Ears Stealth 28 are exactly what I was hoping for in hearing protection. They are very lightweight, so I can comfortably wear them all day. The noise reduction rate, NRR, is an impressive 28. The Stealth 28 is conveniently and USB rechargeable and the first recharge lasted about 20 hours. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to completely recharge so once again convenient! Three diffrenized earbuds were provided with the product, which was greatly appreciated and added to my comfort level since I am a relatively small person. My husband liked the larger earbuds that were provided with the product. We both felt that they were soft and comfortable. The new Stealth 28 amplify up to 5xs and has great compression technology to protect the wearer’s hearing. I am very satisfied with my purchase because they work as advertised, were a terrific price point and there is a 1 year warranty. I recommend this product based on my experience.

Title: First time using electronic hearing protection
Review: This was a surprising experience wearing electronic hearing protection over passive ones, I was amazed by the background sound quality being amplified to hear better, while brief loud noises (i.e., gunshots at a shooting range, fireworks at a parade, rock music at a concert, etc.) were muffled to safe levels not harming your eardrums.The only concern is the three size earbuds, S, M, & L. While they can be interchangeable with the unit, they don’t have adjustable layers for insertion into the canal like I thought they would. It’s like trying on pants without a belt.Battery life does last well over 3 hours of my day on a full charge, and no signs of weakening battery yet.There is also a set of wind filters to stick on the outside of the ear mics, in case you don’t wish to hear white static interference from outside. I haven’t tried them just yet.Other than that, this hearing protection gear is not all that too expensive (under $100), and it is comfortable resting on your temple behind the ears. B+

Title: Killed my ears twice!
Review: I brought a pair and was excited to have something where I could get a better cheekweld on my rifles and for that they work great. Problem is they didn’t protect my ears but actually amified the noise and the blast from other shooters around me and damaged my ear drum. I reached out and they sent me another pair…same thing happend. I so wanted them to work, but they didn’t. Big waist of my money and I have trouble hearing in my left ear now. I cannot recommend and if you do buy them proceed with caution!

Title: Better than what I had before.
Review: SURPRISE! There are gun owners that wear hearing aids. Lots of gun owners wear hearing aids in fact. Prescription hearing aids have volume limiters, and with custom ear molds they offer limited protection from loud noises. They also cost thousands of dollars, and are not generally waterproof / rainproof. They should not be subjected to high dB firearm reports, if you want them to keep working. Firearm earmuffs and earplugs, work great on the shooting range, until you can’t hear what the range officer is saying. They also work great while hunting, until a bear or mountain lion has you for lunch, because you could not hear what was behind you. WHAT WE NEED… is good ear protection, that can substantially replace a hearing aid in normal amplification. That requires a good fidelity microphone, and amplifier. Not a problem, they make billions of those, as cellular phone components. Then you need some decent 3 or more band tone controls, and separate volume controls for each ear. A Bluetooth connection and a phone App. could do that. OMG, we are up to $10,000 in cost now. Yah-No, more like $30 in volume production, and, sell them for less than $200. I think AirPods ™ or similar, could be modified with custom fit occlusive ear molds, and the proper software. The smartphone could do the rest of the sound processing work needed. WOW, this is supposed to be a product review. As a Hearing Aid Wearer, these work better than any of the amplified ear muffs. The Ear muffs should be just as good, but the ones I have tried are disappointing, with low fidelity. These are comfortable, and much better than just ear plugs. They would be better “for me” if they had more volume, with a better volume control, one per ear, and at least a switch to give a bit of high frequency boost, which is where the majority of hearing losses occur. If you hear normally. I think you will find these satisfactory for normal use. I am keeping / using mine, at least until something significantly better comes out.

Review: Let me tell you about this light weight hearing protection. I used them at a local 3-gun match this weekend. I paid to have next day shipping that did not happen. That has nothing to do with the product, but amazon. I received them the day before our match. Charged them over night. At the match I was able to hear range commands, hits on steel, and talking to other shooters without adjusting the volume. They fit at about the same place as my hat, so it made it nice. Almost like I was not wearing anything.Pros-$60 is a great price for what you get!!!!!Light weight – almost forget you are wearing them.They work3 different size ear bud inserts28 noise reduction rating.Lasted the entire match 4 hours approximatelyNo ear gap or hitting butt-stock on bottom of head phones.Cords don’t get tangled in equipment they stay behind your ears.Wife liked they didn’t mess up her hair when not wearing a ball cap.Easy to change ear spacersCons-Don’t like that the battery cannot be changed – will buy again when the battery dies.Battery charges off a USB port – cable included but no plug for wall or car chargerI have a average size head, they fit well. Did not fit as well for my wife (tiny head)Seemed to pick up more wind noise than I like, but it was a very windy day.If you are looking for affordable, comfortable, and easy to use hearing protection I would buy this item. I have the slim line electronic ear muffs that I have used for several years. They have just become my loaner pair, after this purchase.

Review: I really love this headset!Working in maintenance at an amusement park with lots motors and compressors, just loud equipment in general, this thing outperforms custom moulded ear plugs for all day wearing.It’s a comfortable fit, light weight, with the added bonus of superhuman hearing.The one drawback as you can expect is the mics pick up on all noise and louder noises nearby might interfere with a conversation. Doesn’t drown out the other person’s voice, it just overlays the two sounds. Can still pick out the details but is just annoying, though I don’t imagine there’s anything that can be done about that.The high level cutout works a little different than I expected. It doesn’t cut all sound, just trims off the dB level to an acceptable range which is actually kind of nice if you’re trying to listen for unusual sounds in equipmentIf you do intend on wearing these for a full shift, I recommend a little Vaseline on the buds for the first few weeks, as your ears get used to them. Just a little tip from having worn moulded ear plugs for a long timeOverall my expectations have been exceeded and for the price you really can’t go wrong, 9/10 would buy again
