Review: I read Quicksilver about a year ago, and picking up Brimstone reminded me why I was obsessed in the first place. The worldbuilding in this series is so vivid and easy to fall into, and the mystery behind these characters is genuinely exciting. There’s always something you’re trying to piece together, and it keeps the story moving.Saeris and Kingfisher have incredible tension—sharp, stubborn, and the exact kind of slow-burn push-and-pull I love. Review: What an interesting book. First of all I want to acknowledge that the audiobook narrators did an excellent job.This story was so captivating from the beginning to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this story. So interesting. Great job with the world and character building. I absolutely adored the characters.It is fast paced with a lot of information to process. I’m curious to see where this story goes next

Review: RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SPICE:🌶️🌶️🌶️I am so upset with myself for putting this off for so long. Thank you everyone for (kindly) bullying me into reading it!! I immediately understand the obsession. Saeris is an awesome FMC. I adore how badass she is, she’s strong on her own. Her point of view is clear, her motives feel so relatable, and her internal monologue is what my brain sounds like. Kingfisher is obviously a fan favorite and I can see why… I am desperate for him. He is the perfect amount of moody & grumpy & so sweet in his weird little way. The smut took a good chunk of build up but when it got there it was STEAMY. The spice felt like a plot device and spaced into the story well. As a couple, they are pretty rock solid in terms of substance. However, the GEM of this book was Carrion Swift. He is probably the funniest side character I have enjoyed this year. Total Ridoc from Fourth Wing vibes, Carrion is absolutely ridiculous and raunchy. Truly, I would read a book about him immediately. The magie system was incredibly interesting and the plot was fast paced and locked me in. For its size, there weren’t moments that felt like a lull, something was ALWAYS happening. That, coupled with a jaw dropping last 100 pages, made this an easyyyy 5 star. The descriptions of the Gods and their powers made me feel like I was 13 again and obsessing over Greek God lore. One of my favorite romantasy books of the year easily. November cannot come soon enough for book 2.

Review: This was about Saeris, she is living in poverty with her brother, struggling and stealing just to survive from one day to the next. When she is arrested and her life is on the line, the strange powers she’s kept secret come to the surface and open a gateway to another realm. This realm is so different from the life she knows, starting with the fact that fae actually exist, she is now in their realm, and they are at war. Kingfisher is the fae warrior that saved Saeris and brought her to his realm and he thinks she is the key to helping his people win the war, but he isn’t happy about it. No matter what it takes or what it will cost either of them, Kingfisher is determined to use Saeris’s powers to save his people and win this war. And then he will let her go back to her own realm.This romantasy was just so well done. The world building, the magic, the creatures, the action, the romance, the character development, I enjoyed every element of this story! It had my attention right from the start and took me on a journey that had my imagination running wild! And I also have to mention that the audio was absolutely incredible, the narrators brought this story to life so beautifully! I absolutely loved this book, and I am soo excited for Brimstone, book 2 to come out! 🩶❄️🦋🗡️📚

Review: 5+ STARSWOW! Quicksilver was absolutely everything! This story was so original and two MCs absolutely fascinating. The storyline got me hooked from the start. I loved that it mixed intrigue, action, mystery and the whole alchemy twist was refreshing to me.Saeris was another one of those incredibly strong-minded heroine full of fire. Her intense personality was the perfect match to our broody hero. Kingfisher was so complex and compelling. I just couldn’t get enough of him. Their was such a mystery surounding this fae warrior and with each new revelations about him, I cherished him even more. His attachment for Saeris, despite his sometimes cruel actions was stunning. Their chemistry was just explosive and beautiful. I loved seeing their attraction unfold into a powerful romance that gave me chills.As much as I loved the main characters tremendously, the full cast of this book was great. Searis’s little furry companion, Onyx, was just the sweetest touch, Carrion brought humor with his constant charm and jokes, Ren was the supportive friend to Kingfisher, Te Lena with her healing power and Lorreth with his devotion to their cause were only a few of all these beloved protagonists.I kept waiting to read this novel because I didn’t want to have to wait over a year before getting the sequel, but all the hype about this story is highly deserved! I’m glad Brimestone releases in only a few weeks because I need more of Saeris and Kingfisher in my life! The action packed ending full of twists has me dying for what coming next in the Fae & Alchemy Series!
