Title: Works great.
Review: I put in a small solar powered lighting system in a storage container. First one of these motion detectors lasted over fifteen years in an unheated and apparently leaky metal storage container. The ceiling outlet box that I had this connected to had water in it, and that probably contributed to its demise. Fixed the leaks, and now I’m ready for at least another fifteen more years.

Title: Short life
Review: Because my system is set up to power the motion sensor switch with 12-volt AC, this unit is the only option I could find. Therefore, I have bought 3 of these units, buying a new one each time the previous one fails (which takes about 1 year). Two of them began to keep the lights on all the time and the other stopped turning on the lights at all. I hate these expensive, cheaply made units, and will re-wire my set-up instead of buying yet another.

Review: Works flawlessly! I’ve purchased other similar 12V motion sensors from Amazon and ebay, which I found to be completely junk. I’m willing to pay more for something that actually works, and this one is a keeper in my book. I’ve since ordered more. It’s getting harder and harder to find quality made products. I’m glad RAB Lighting is producing a product that actually works as advertised.

Review: over priced not anymore reliable than a 12vdc solar 50watt motion sensor from china for $10.00 used with a transfor and rectifier, the raab has poor instructions and I couldnt seem to make 2 devices work with one load as stated in specs for $100+ each …… I now go the other way effected by moisture supposed to be outdoor

Review: This Product is to sensitive, being 12 volt I have it hooked up to run a WIG WAG RAILROAD SIGNAL this is the third one that I have purchased from AMAZON one is still working on a railroad signal. the other two have given up.
