Title: Incredibly hard to open
Review: I recently took a plane flight that was fairly long. Early on in the flight my cochlear hearing device indicated a need for battery replacement. I took a one of the package of 6 Rayovac batteries and tried to open it. I couldn’t do it, neither could anyone in my row. I asked a flight attendant if she could help me, so she took it back to the galley. Anyway, it became a joke of the flight as to how in the world to open the package. At home I’ve had to use the scissors I cut apart lambchops with. Anyway, please recommend cochlear batteries that can be opened for use. I have no idea the idea behind such a protected battery package. Child resistant? How about people resistant?

Title: Horrible Packaging
Review: The batteries might be fine. The packaging is HORRIBLE!! They say the package is childproof. It for damn sure is! It is also adult proof. They say you can open the package with scissors. With enough effort you can, but the plastic is so tough you put your hands at risk. There was no way my mother could open these, so I took them to my shop to open. With a drill press and a 1/4 forstner bit the package can be opened. My recommendation, look elsewhere.

Title: Hard to open
Review: Batteries seem fine, but the packaging leaves something to be desired. You need 1/2 a box of C4 to get it open. I get the childproof thing but anyone with arthritis would need someone else to open it.

Title: a snap became a pain
Review: The packaging is so difficult to open and retrieve batteries, it makes changing batteries a chore. In the previous packaging, it was a snap. When I need batteries to hear, I don’t want a chore.

Title: Terrible packaging…difficult to open
Review: Terrible packaging…requires scissors to open and even then very difficult to get access to the batteries. We will never buy this brand again! Other brands just have a flap to open access to one battery and turn plastic to get to next battery.
