Title: OTC Hearing Aids with App
Review: This is a nice set of hearing aids, although as a first time user, they do take some time to get used to. I have good hearing in my right ear, but am practically deaf in my left. The good news is you can wear a single hearing aid if you want, or you can wear both and independently set the volume for each. And they are not uncomfortable to wear. They feel a lot like wearing ear buds. These are in ear hearing aids, rather than behind the ear like it says in the product description. They come with various sized tips, although there is no guidelines on how to select which are best for you. About the only hint is if you hear whistling, try a different size. They also come with a charging case that indicates the current level of charge on each hearing aid. They do come charged and ready for use out of the box, and the hearing aids turn on automatically when you remove them from the case. They case recharges via USB C.You will need to download the “ForSound” app to use these hearing aids. Once you have downloaded the app, they pair easily via bluetooth. After putting them away, I did find I needed to repair them using the app once I reinserted them. The app has a hearing test to help you adjust these hearing aids to your individual needs, although I found I needed to tweak, especially when wearing both hearing aids, as it set them both to volume 11, ans I like the right at one and the left at 3-4.(I have included screenshots of the various screens on the app. It is very simple, and beyond modes and volume, there is not much there other than the hearing test to help you adjust the aids for your own deficits.)You can supposedly adjust the volume on the hearing aids themselves, but I found that onerous. I recommend using the app to perform this task, where it is very easy. If the aids are not fitted correctly, they will screech, and if they are in upside down, they will screech too. Initially, they were screeching too much, but after I figured out how far to push them in, which side was up, and which tips to use, that subsided. They do tend to screech when you remove them unfortunately. You also have to repair every time you reopen the app.You can switch from hearing mode to music mode by pushing the button on the aid itself. It will give you verbal feedback when adjusting anything using the button on the aid, but I found that feedback hard to hear, ironically. I also found wearing these made my tinnitus worse, and tinnitus mode did nothing to alleviate that, but that may just be a part of me getting used to wearing a hearing aid. I tend to only wear the left one most of the time, and I really do see a huge difference in how well I can hear when I do. I will say these do magnify the sound of my own voice and not just sounds around me, which takes a lot of getting used to as well. But these are good starter hearing aids for those of us who saw too many loud concerts in our youth, and are now needing something to help mitigate the damage we did.

Title: Bad Sound
Review: The quality of the sound was very echoing made you feel like everything was down a tunnel. Not sure if it was defective or what.

Title: Good features and app
Review: These OTC hearing aids have a lot of good features and the app works surprising well. I have been wearing hearing aids for quite some time and wanted to see how well these hearing aids would compare. Unfortunately my hearing loss is outside the range of these hearing aids so they didn’t help me that much. They are very easy to charge in the case and I liked how they automatically turn on when inserting into the ear. The button on the aids was hard to push to change the volume and programs, I found that using the app was much easier. Also, the app allows both aids to be adjusted at the same time which is much more convenient. The hearing test was easy to use and adjusted the aids for my specific needs, but even after adjusting the gain was just not enough for me. There was also quite a bit of feedback when I moved the volume to the max, I had to keep it in the middle to avoid the feedback but then I couldn’t hear as well. These aids will likely work well for those with low to moderate hearing loss but I highly recommend using the app to control the aids as part of your everyday use.

Title: need some improvement for bluetooth mode, but decent for hearing mode
Review: this seems like a decent and low cost hearing aid package. I removed two stars because every now and then i got a screetching/feedback noise and also the right ear bud could not connect to bluetooth on my phone or play music.Pros:-feel nice in my ear and comfortable to wear for a long time-quality of sound coming in is very good-can use either ear bud independently of each other in hearing mode-case is nice and well crafted with LCD display of battery status for each bud. the magnetic charging is very nice.Cons:-there is a slight delay when in bluetooth mode and making a call from the time you walk to when someone on the other end hears you. this is likely ok for phone calls, but we did experience this delay in my evaluation-some screetching/feedback noise was experienced. it was bad when it happened and very loud-the right ear bud would not play music or take calls in bluetooth modeNOTE: remove the plastic firm from the earbuds in order for them to charge them for the first time

Title: great once you get them seated properly
Review: Got these for my mom. I thought my mom could benefit from these. They actually do amplify sound pretty well, but unless they are in your ears super tight they make a squealing sound. Once we got them fitted to your ears better they work better. They charge well and hold a charge as well. The battery life is pretty good for such a small unit. The charging case seems nice and basically does what it’s supposed to do. There are different settings for different circumstances, but my mom said the different settings don’t make much difference. The best thing about it is, when you put them in they automatically turn on and when you take them out they automatically turn off, and you can use your phone to adjust volume and mode, which is very helpful when your fingers can’t feel the button.

Title: great amplification
Review: These hearing aids do a great job of amplifying sound. They charge quickly, and they really do stay put in my ears. I appreciate that they are flesh colored, and so theoretically less obvious when I wear them than if they were black. However, I find that they tend to create an echo that I can’t figure out how to get rid of. Also, often sharp sounds (like someone putting down a soda can onto a stone countertop, for example) are extremely sharp and hurt my ears.
