Title: Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aids/Amplifiers
Review: These are pretty dang good hearing aids/amplifiers. They are rechargeable and the battery life is excellent. Comfortable behind the ear discreet. Very light weight and durable. Easy to use with instructions that are plain and simple to understand. I work with many folks that have suffered with hearing loss and don’t have insurance coverage or cash to acquire professional quality hearing aids. These are a great solution for them. Excellent quality and affordable price. Best of all, they work.

Title: Listen carefully
Review: These were ordered for an elderly neighbor. The tiny behind‑ear design is nearly invisible. They boost up to 45 dB, which made TV and conversations much clearer. They come pre‑programmed for mild to severe hearing loss, so setup was quick. I hear they work and my neighbor can hear my say yay! Fair value. Easily portable. Charges and a standard speed. Title: Very nice for the price
Review: I have been around firearms and aircraft noise most of my life. So I have lost high end and some middle hearing loss.I probably have been needing hearing aids for many years, however, never wanted to go and be fitted for hearing aids and pay the high expense.I have many friends that did, and they are very happy. I see that somewhere down the road. In the meantime, I thought I would see if I could find a less expensive easier solution. I believe these work well for the money. After visiting with many of my friends that have worked in factories, and have hearing loss , these are not as good as they are as theirs. However, they have spent thousands of dollars for theirs. I would certainly hope that theirs are much better.These work very well for me for the price. I believe they’re a good value, and a great stopgap for those who want to totally restore their hearing later or those that cannot afford the very expensive hearing aids.I am happy with these for the price. I would order them again.

Title: Great hearing aids!!
Review: I’m always on the search for quality hearing aids for my husband. They needed to have whistling cancellation, last longer than a few hours and recharge quickly. These hit the mark in all areas. He says the clarity is amazing and they turn on automatically and stay at the last setting you had it on. The charging display is another great feature that has come in handy and they are a great value! They fit him comfortably and discreetly which is a huge plus. I highly recommend!

Title: Much Easier Way to Hear Better
Review: Dealing with gradual hearing loss has been frustrating, especially missing out on things people are saying or struggling in crowded rooms. I wasn’t ready for the whole audiologist route yet, so I decided to look into over-the-counter options, and these rechargeable hearing aids caught my eye.The rechargeable aspect was a big selling point for me. It’s incredibly easy to use – just pop them in the digital display charging station overnight, and they’re ready to go in the morning. No messing around with tiny batteries! The BTE (behind-the-ear) style is pretty comfortable, I barely notice them after a while. With up to 45dB of gain, they really amplify sounds and make conversations much clearer, which has made a huge difference.They also seem to do a good job handling feedback; I haven’t experienced that annoying whistling that some devices have. For anyone with mild to severe hearing loss looking for a convenient, effective, and rechargeable option without needing a prescription, these are a solid choice. They’ve made it much easier to participate in everyday life and hear what’s going on around me.

Title: OK for watching TV, no restaurants
Review: Rechargeable Hearing Amplifier with 45dB Gain by FLYSOUNDThis last week has been an interesting period for me. First I found a hearing amplifier for $49.99, and I ordered it. Then later I found this FLYSOUND amplifier for $179.00. I have experience with regular hearing aids also, so I have a chance to closely compare what is received for the difference in price.Of course the hearing aids obtained from the audiologist were extremely expensive, and when they ceased to work, I did not replace them. The other two amplifiers are almost give away when compared to a pair of sound adjusted hearing aids.My primary comparison will be between the 50 dollar set, and the 179 dollar set, since that will be the likely decision for the Amazon shopper looking for an amplifier.I am 80 years old, and have light hearing loss in the high end, and in the middle. My low end frequencies are good. This is a common loss for the elderly.These amplifiers cannot be “tuned” like some of the new Bluetooth connected units that can be adjusted with software. The FLYSOUND amplifiers increase the volume of every sound.The sound on both units was loud enough, with the FLYSOUND unit being louder.I found the $49.99 unit to be unusable because of the earplug wire. The wire comes straight out of the unit and stays straight. When I attempted to plug the device into my ear, it would not stay in place. The wire tension just lifted it off my head. The FLYSOUND wire is bent in the proper manner to remain secure in the ear.These are not hearing aids, and I could find no mode adjustment to help with the omni directional microphone. It is impossible to differentiate the direction the sound is coming from, and I found the background sound to be too loud and disorienting.I would not recommend the $49.99 unit at all. I could never obtain a comfortable position for the earpiece. I would recommend the FLYSOUND $179.99 unit for watching TV or working on the computer in an otherwise quiet sound environment.Any unwanted sound is amplified, and presented, and makes the use of the amplifier very difficult.There is no Bluetooth on either unit, so no phone calls, and no frequency adjustment.I would suggest anyone who wishes an actual hearing aid experience bite the bullet, and purchase an adjustable hearing device with noise cancelling. Someone wanting an actual hearing aid experience that they can use in other than a quiet environment will just have to come up with the 3 or 4 hundred dollars or more they cost. There are units for 3 to 5 hundred dollars available that are almost as good as the hearing aids obtained from an audiologist. If the FLYSOUND is purchased for a hearing aid, there will be disappointment.If the thought is that there are only 180 bucks available, if purchased as a hearing aid, this will not suffice, and the 180 bucks will be gone. I would suggest there will not be satisfaction.The FLYSOUND gets a 3 rating for a unit suitable for TV watching in an otherwise quiet environment. I would not recommend the $49.99 unit for any use.
