Title: Crystal-Clear 12MP Video and Reliable All-Around Home Security System!
Review: Excellent Coverage and Crystal-Clear Quality!I couldn’t be happier with this REOLINK system! The 12MP resolution delivers incredibly sharp and detailed video even at night. The PoE setup made installation simple and clean, with just one cable per camera for both power and data. The eight cameras provide full coverage of my property, and the app makes it easy to view live feeds or playback recordings right from my phone.Motion detection is accurate and not overly sensitive, and I appreciate how customizable the alerts are. The system has been running smoothly without any lag or connection issues. For the quality, ease of use, and peace of mind it offers, this setup is worth every penny.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and professional-grade home security solution!

Title: Nice system for the price.
Review: This is the third camera system I’ve installed in my home in the last few months. The first one was a Lorex system that cost around $1200. I returned it because I could not get it to quit giving false motion alerts. Then I bought an 8 camera Reolink system. That system was a big improvement and I was happy with it. Then, browsing Amazon, I noticed they had this 12MP eight camera system for a few hundred more dollars. I was still within the return window on the first Reolink system so I returned it and purchased this system. It has been great so far. Very good image quality. The app is simple and easy to use. Setup was easy. I haven’t had any interactions with tech support so I can’t comment on that. Upgrading to this system also gave me lights on the cameras, audible alarms on each camera, and the ability to talk and listen over the cameras. Those are all nice features and work well.A few things I’d change… 1) The cameras don’t lock on to the mounting plate. They just spin on and there’s a slight click. If a dirt bag wanted to, they could just unscrew the camera and pull it off. That was one thing the Lorex did better, it had little set screws that locked the cameras to the plate so removing them would require a tool and at least a few minutes of time.2) I think like most of these “cheaper” systems, the smart detection is kind of a gimmic. I’ve been trying for a month to get the settings where it only tells me if there is a person or a vehicle in the camera’s view. It still occasionally alerts me to a wasp, a cat, or nothing that I can discern. It is an improvement over the Lorex technology, though. I’m hopeful one day I’ll get the settings just right.3) Not enough NVR storage capacity. I like to keep my system recording 24/7. I could get about 5 days of recordings before it started overwriting older stuff. That wasn’t enough for me so I added a 6TB Seagate drive (not cheap!) in addition to the one that comes with the system. I think it can keep about 12 days of recordings stored now. If I ever get to a place where I 100% trust the accuracy of its motion triggers, I may switch it to record motion only. That would greatly increase the amount of days I could keep on the storage.Overall, I like this system and for the cost I consider it a good deal. I looked at a couple of U.S. company’s commercial systems when I was shopping and they were $2500-$4k for the same amount of cameras and comparable NVRs. The way I look at it, I saved a ton of money and all it cost me was the weaker camera mounting system (which hopefully will never be a problem) and the occasional false motion alert. Thanks for reading! Hope that helps someone in their search.

Title: Great camera system
Review: Great system with easy set up. 12MP cameras are very clear. Love the way the light on the cameras light up at night when they detect motions. Speakers on the cameras are great. The doorbell camera has a wireless doorbell you can plug into a receptacle outlet which is awesome where you can place it anywhere in your home. Another example of a great product is their customer technical support. They are knowledgeable and you can actually talk to a live person and easy to get assistance. Love the product.

Title: Great System and great Company
Review: Great system! High quality video and sound. Had one camera go out after almost a year and after some quick trouble shooting, camera was quickly replaced. Warranty process super easy and efficient! I do suggest buying an extra ssd if you have a lot of cameras or want to be able to keep more than 10 days of high res footage.

Title: Overall very nice, but need minor adjustments/additions
Review: I’ve installed a number of HIK vision camera systems, including for my father and my sisters homes, and they seem to have probable at least twice a year that needs the tech to come out and fix it due to IP change or whatever, and they’re so much more expensive, so when it came to my own house I decided to shop around. I’ve only had these cameras installed for about 5 days now, but overall they seem very nice, especially for the price, compared to HIK and other brands. A big selling point was the audio record and talking, as the wife wanted Ring but I feel like those are a rip off if you want more than 3 cameras.Installation is just as easy as any other similar camera, just running a CAT5 or 6 which when it comes to running it nice and snaking it through walls, you can either do it or you need professional installation, it would be no different with another brand. The key CONS that I had with installation were 1) there is no set screw to not only lock the camera in place so wind and whatever else doesn’t knock it off it’s angle, but it also means that someone could just grab the camera, give it a quarter turn and unplug the cable and be gone with it. I was blown away at how that was overlooked by Reolink. The other thing, if you’re like me and need to run pipe on the outside of your house, which also means using standard weatherproof electrical boxes to mount the camera and hide the wires, then you’ll find that the mounting holes for the camera don’t like up with the screw threads for the electrical box. Another oversight that should be pretty basic, as I’m sure there’s a lot of people who need to use these round weatherproof boxesThe app works great and you have full control through the app to set motion alarms, change settings for lights and alarms and detection, whatever you want. I like that you can turn off push notifications from individual cameras and even set it so it recognizes people from cars from animals, so you can turn off animal notifications if you live rural and don’t want to be woken up by a rabbit at 2 am.HOWEVER, the most annoying part and a super easy software update; the max amount of time you can set between push notifications is 2 minutes, and as far as I can tell, you can’t silence the notifications for a period of time. So if you’re out in your yard or patio and just enjoying yourself without any need of cameras telling you that someone’s at your house or not, you’re still gonna get a notification every 2 minutes until it stops detecting motion. And that’s every two minutes from each camera, so if you have 3 cameras detecting motion from say a party, then every 2 minutes, you’re gonna get 3 notifications saying camera 1, camera 2, camera 3 detected motion. There’s needs to be an easy select button that mutes notifications for a selected amount of time, then automatically turns it back on. Like if you could acknowledge it and say mute for 2, 3, 6, or 8 hours because you don’t need to know that there’s motion when you’re the motion. That’s my soapbox. Overall they are very nice, the spotlights are surprisingly bright AF which is nice. The alarm is loud if you want it but I turned them off cause I felt they would be annoying. Image quality is super clear, the app is very user friendly, but they need to make some easy adjustments

Review: I’m really happy with my Reolink 12MP camera. The build quality is awesome—feels super solid and well-made. The app works smoothly, and the color night vision looks great, way better than I expected. I’ve had zero problems so far. Definitely worth the buy if you want a reliable and high-quality security camera.

Review: Very fast shipping. Amazon great as usual. The product: As advertised. Packaging is excellent. The product is very easy to setup, very much plug and play. The app works excellent, main reason I chose Reolink over Lorex. Overall, very happy with this purchase. However it would be nice if the mounting boxes were included to house the wiring.
