Title: Retro Touch Tone Telephone
Review: Great retro styled desk telephone that easily hooks up to your land line. The red model is awesome looking & works great. It’s important to note a couple items: (1) this phone is touch tone, not rotary dial; (2) the style is British, not American. It seems that some reviewers didn’t fully read the specs before purchasing & were disappointed because of it.

Title: Not a rotary phone
Review: It looks like one but the “rotary dial” is actually just buttons in the rotary shape.

Title: Decoration Piece… For Now
Review: COMMENTS: I am using this as a decoration piece for now, but plan on using it as my office phone was I’m able. I will update my review once I have it installed, but it’ll be quite awhile before I can so figured it deserved an initial review.PROS:- The design is exactly as pictured, with a high gloss plastic body.- I adore the center display, which is actually a button! Looking forward to finding out if this auto-dials 999/911 or redials the last number (which is an indicated feature in the body of the product page – it also indicates call rejection which I thought it might be, but the instructions say that feature works by picking up and dropping the receiver, which is absolutely hilarious).- You can actually angrily hang up on people!- On the bottom the receiver and line ports are clearly marked, which is appreciated.- You’re able to switch the volume on/off and change the volume of the ringer. But… (see neutrals).NEUTRALS:- You’re only able to switch the volume of the ring from high to low. Not enough to be a con, but not a positive either.- It’s really lightweight, and I wish it had some more heft in the receiver like I remember from my prior rotaries and table phones. You can pull off the end caps though, so it’s possible to add small weights.CONS:- There’s a weird slip to the front of the handset cradle when you set it down – it doesn’t securely rest in place. It’s aesthetically nice, but also possible to set it down where it doesn’t actually engage the plungers/switch hooks.GIFTABLE?: Yes, directly.CONCLUSION:- I’m still really pleased with this as a decoration and can’t wait to put it into full use in the future. I’m looking forward to finding out what the center button does. I’d fully recommend it, decoration or otherwise, considering it’s one of the most attractive ones on the market with a classic/UK flair.

Title: Great retro-style phone. No batteries required!
Review: I generally use my iPhone for everything, including having my landline forwarded to it. However, I live in a location that has just about every natural disaster possible. From volcanos to hurricanes, tsunamis, the list goes on and on.It is pretty important here to have a landline, and especially a phone that does not require power beyond what is provided on the telephone circuit naturally. This is a great retro-style phone. Rather than a rotary dial, this has round digit buttons in place of the dial. The buttons are large and easy to use.The buttons also produce the tone for as long as you hold the button – which is great for those automated services that don’t seem to pick up on the short bursts smartphones use.It comes with the handset, handset cord, and telephone cord disconnected – but it is super simple to pop them in place.Very lightweight – though you might want a longer cord if you intend to use it at a distance from the plug. The center of the dial has a big round button. This will redial the last number when hit. The button is not terribly firm, but worked ok.One down side is in the middle dial button it has printed “Fire”, “Police”, “Ambulance”, “Operator” (each per line). Next to “Ambulance” it says 999, and next to “Operator” it says 100 – so this phone is obviously for a non-US country.

Title: Exactly what my 75-year-old mother needed
Review: I got this, because the digital landline phone my mother was using stopped working suddenly. Since the landline phone is essentially just a backup to her mobile phone and she struggled with the small buttons on the old phone (as well as the extra features that were just confusing for her), I decided to go with a simple phone that would still work even when there was no electricity. At $16, this is pretty much perfect for her. Big & readable buttons, 3 programmable numbers, volume on the handset is plenty loud (currently only needing to use the medium setting), and 2 ringer volumes available. The overall quality definitely does not give high-end vibes, but that’s not what I was looking for or expecting at this price point. It feels pretty light and definitely has a plasticky feel to it, but it’s acceptable to me…best way I can say it is that it looks and feels inexpensive but not “cheap”.This was literally plug-and-play on first use. We removed the old phone and the old cable, plugged in the new phone cable (included) to the wall jack and phone, and we were able to make and receive calls without any problems. Only question right now would be durability, so I’ll update my review if the phone doesn’t hold up to the very limited use it will be going through.
