Review: Just what a person needs to grab stuff. Priced for economy. I noticed the grab area is larger then others, which means one needs to squeeze a bit more then normal. Otherwise this is nice. Lightweight but sturdy.

Title: This little gem is a godsend!
Review: I first encountered this perfect invention when my dad was given one after open heart surgery in 1989. He was given it by the cardiac stepdown unit to prevent straining of bending over to pick up dropped items. I still have his original one and it is a Sammons, same as this. I ordered 4 of these, 3 to give to my sisters & a spare for myself. It picks up the tiniest piece of paper easily and I use it many times every day. It will easily pay for itself in a very short amount of time. If you are having surgery of any kind, have back or neck trouble or just have trouble picking things up, do not hesitate to buy this “little friend”.

Title: The best grabber ever!
Review: After surgery at least 10 years ago and another surgery recently I have used this grabber to get the many things that were unreachable or dropped. I recently ordered a second to put in another room. It is sturdy and nimble enough to pick up many items. It even has a magnet to pick up dropped silverware.

Review: There are a number of manufacturers of similar Reachers. This one is a tad more costly however, I have tried other makes and the Sammons Preston 31191 is superior. It is stronger, more durable and the grippers can lift heavier items. The magnet is more powerful. This short 26″ model, I find to ideal for a confined space. The longer model is good for outdoors. I was first introduced to this Reacher as a resident physiotherapy patient at The Toronto Rehab. Institute and have given some as gifts to relatives. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. I call mine ‘the grabber’.
