But, don’t put your purse fork away just yet because the Sam’s Club bakery has a new item that fans are calling a “new favorite.” And it’s looking like the Member’s Mark brand is dubbing this year a banana bread autumn, as the club store recently dropped a new Caramelized Banana Pecan Loaf.

If you feel like you’ve been seeing banana bread everywhere lately, you’re not alone. From banana bread-flavored lattes to banana bread pancakes, and simply new iterations of the fan-favorite way to use up those overripe bananas, we can’t help but think banana bread is the new it girl of the season. Now, Sam’s Club is getting in on the action with a new loaf that’s anything but your average banana bread loaf. 

The Member’s Mark Caramelized Banana Pecan Loaf, weighing in at nearly two pounds, is a massive loaf made with real bananas in a buttery, pecan-filled, moist cake. The cake itself is a pretty standard banana bread, but the topping is where things get interesting. The loaf is topped with caramelized pecans and a caramel drizzle for a decadent flavor that elevates the creamy, banana-flavored crumb. 

Instagram user @samsclubfoodreview described the banana bread as “soft, moist, and tender,” but the spotlight falls on the caramelized pecans. 

“Because they are baked in with that caramel drizzle, they take on a sweet, candied edge that makes each bite a mix of nutty, buttery, and caramelized flavors,” she writes. 

After spotting the new Member’s Mark Caramelized Banana Pecan Loaf in stores, fans immediately added it to their shopping list, saying they “would devour” it in just one day. 

But, if that’s your plan, you might need to get to Sam’s sooner rather than later. Because the banana loaves are baked fresh daily, each club has only a limited number to sell. And, according to one Instagram user, the Caramelized Banana Pecan Loaf is flying off shelves. 

“Come and get it early! It sells out fast,” the user writes.
