Title: Bright, but harsh lighting
Review: I bought these to replace the 8000lm 80w 5-petal lights I had before in the kitchen. While these are lower wattage use (40w) and you get 5000lm, they aren’t frosted like the other ones. So you get glaring bright light with harsh shadows on everything. They don’t feel like overhead kitchen lights, but a high spotlight. Plus, they have a more warmer (yellow) light that was more neutral before. That may be due to the kitchen sockets having a yellow barrel instead of flat white. They are bigger than a regular bulb, but smaller than flood lights. I’ll figure out a way to frost them over for a softer diffused lighting.

Review: When I ordered these I said to myself…if these aren’t bright white…I’m sending them back. Put them up and Wow…very happy nice and bright and the yellow light is gone. The main reason I bought this is because it is the same size as a normal light bulb and that’s what I needed.
