Review: I have problems reading some small print (on instructional leaflets/booklets or on medication) so I felt that having a portable magnify glass would help. I do have “reading” glasses but I generally keep these “reading” glasses at home.The magnify glass is very portable and fits easily and comfortably in my pockets. For Canadians, it is larger than a $2 coin as you can see from one of my pictures. Americans can judge the size of the magnify glass from the size of the dime ($0.10) in the same picture since the Canadian dime is roughly the same size as an American dime.The item comes in a cardboard box, 2 carrying bags, and a cleaning cloth.As others mentioned, I’m not sure where it gets its rating/description of 8x. It isn’t 8x. It definitely does make things larger (and large enough for me to read clearly) but I don’t believe it is 8x (or maybe I don’t understand the magnification scale).All in all, I think it is a good product due to its portability/size.
