Title: It’s worth having.

Title: Misses the Mark
Review: I had been wanting one of these for a long time. I often talk about these with my clients as an option to read material they struggle to read independently, or to translate information in another language. And these pens have so many cool optons! Yet no matter how I used this, it failed to meet my expectations. This worked for lower level text like a children’s book or if I was trying to look up or read aloud a single word here or there. But when I tried using it for my work materials, textbooks, or mail it just missed the mark. I tried going faster and slower and while it increased or decreased the errors some, I never found that happy area where it was consistently accurate. Overall, I still am looking for a product like this because the consistentcy on this is just not there.

Title: Worked a few times then started saying nonsense
Review: My mom is going blind and has a really hard time reading almost anything. While I realize this wasn’t made specifically for the blind, it’s still doing everything she needs! I have seen similar “Reading pens” for the blind before, but all of them were either way to Expensive way to complicated. This one is perfect. It doesn’t need to be connected to the internet, but you can if you want. That means she can use it anywhere, at restaurants to read a menu or to read medical reports. It’s really easy to use. I highly recommend.

Title: Very Cool Tech!
Review: Very cool translator pen! Reads well after scanning, so perfect for kids that are learning or struggling to learn. Fits well in different hand sizes, although can be slightly clunky for a small child. It’s obviously very useful and functional though for the correct audience. Accuracy is around 95% of the way there, but for this price, I’m not expecting perfection. It’s cool to see it in action, even if there are some extra letters here and there – it’s still able to be pretty accurate in the translation. It’s really easy to use, and it’s so cool to see this type of product in the market nowadays. I wish I had this as a kid to use!
