The base could definitely be a touch heavier for better balance on softer flooring. If you’re placing it on carpet, you might want to add some extra weight to keep it steady.That said, it’s still a solid lamp that does the job well, especially if you’re on a budget. I’d recommend it with that small caveat in mind!

Title: Perfect reading light!
Review: Good value for the money. Simple assembly. My husband reads a LOT and needed better lighting in the living room. This lamp fits the bill. It provides enough coverage that it allows me to read at the same time in a different chair. It doesn’t come with a light bulb, so I bought the Amazon Basics smart bulb that pairs with Alexa so I can turn it on/off or dim it by voice control or thru the Alexa app. You can also adjust the direction of the shade but I haven’t found that necessary (yet). The lamp is a good height too. I’m happy with my purchase.

Review: Easy to assemble. You have multiple positions for using this arc lamp. I am using mine next to my mid-century modern sofa. I think you will find it has many useful locations throughout your home or office. Make sure to use the proper lighting (not included) detailed in the easy to read and follow directions for assembly.

Review: I love this lamp. It’s a perfect addition to my living room. It has a floor control button that you step on to turn it on or off, and is perfect to even leave on at night for my plants.
