Title: Wonderful for folks with vision or hearing imparement, and good for cognitive issues too!
Review: This phone is terrific for my elderly mother! She has dementia, and the images with speed dial allow her to make phone calls without having to remember dialing a phone number. We put pictures of family members on the dial keys and she has been able to call us.Also, the volume is perfect. It is adjustable and allows us to make the sound louder for her. She is able to really hear us on the phone now.Lastly, the size of the buttons is perfect for older folks with some vision impairment. My mother has cataracts, but can still see the numbers on these buttons without her glasses!Nice, simple, clear, easy to program and use. I plan to order another for my in-laws for Christmas!

Title: Excellent, easy to use phone with speed dial buttons and clear amplified sound
Review: I’ve been searching for several years for a phone my grandmother could use. It had to be simple, with big buttons, easy to see with cataracts and have speed dial and a speaker. The only problem I did have was I knocked off one of the photo button covers. I covered the label on that button with clear box tape…Problem Solved! I didn’t realize this also can amplify sound, which she doesn’t need but a few of us have diminished hearing. The sound is clear and easily understandable on both ends of the line, although I think she may have bumped the volume down a little. When I got it and started to set it up I had to turn down the volume because it was too loud! I’m looking at the manufactures other models for myself because I’m so impressed with this one but don’t need the large buttons. I got her a wireless home phone base from Consumer Cellular so her unlimited nationwide calling is only costing about $20 a month…at that rate she’ll actually talk to us over the phone again. This phone has made a Huge difference in her life and ours. Thank you So Much for making such a great phone!

Title: Life saver
Review: We bought this for my mom who is in memory care. She has lost her ability to dial numbers. Getting the pictures off the computer and down to size was tricky, but well worth it. I also put our names on the picture. If I didn’t have the talent to do this, just putting names in the spaces could work too. I wish it had a ton more spaces, of course, But, I would highly recommend this easy phone!

Title: Keeping It Simple and big works wonders
Review: The photo speed dial buttons have enabled my mother to call me, and her other besties again! Vision, hearing, lack of physical strength and dexterity in her hands had virtually eliminated my mother’s ability to make phone calls when she wanted or needed to. The picture buttons are good enough size, using the speaker and not having to remove a hearing aid to use the hand held receiver–are helping her reach out when she needs to.

Review: Just hooked up this phone for my elderly mother…unfortunately the programmable feature didn’t work. Followed instructions correctly to program numbers in. Even called Serene for troubleshooting ideas, of which they had none. Just suggested I return it. 🙁

Title: Great phone for elderly people.
Review: Feature packed phone, that definitely helps older people with hearing issues. I’ve used color tiles with big letter name identifiers, instead of pictures, that seem to work better for older people. However, the microphone is not at par with the rest of the features. The sound is rather weak and therefore not suitable for people that have softer voices (the party on the other line cannot hear the person on this phone very well.) A model with caller-id info (which is missing) and the pictures tiles would be a great future product. A big plus is that this phone does NOT require an separate power source. You only plug it to the phone line so it remains available during a power failure.
