Review: I purchased this item for my husband to amplify the sound of the tv. It amplifies every sound but the tv. Like conversations people are having in another room. My husband does not like it. It was a waste of money.

Review: I noticed a trend when looking through these sound amplifying devices. they get unfairly poor ratings. it does what it says and depends on the environment you are in. I”m a supervised visitation monitor and I’m supposed to write reports about parent child visits, however sometimes these naughty parents try to whisper things to the children that they shouldn’t, and sometimes there are other things going on and I don’t catch what a child said. that looks bad on me so I looked carefully at all available devices to improve my hearing of conversation during these visits. I read all the reviews and didn’t want to spend a ton of money.this is a GREAT buy, if you don’t have hearing problems.the reviews are mixed of course but the trend I noticed is that people with good hearing say it works well, people with hearing loss don’t like it because it doens’t work for them. well it can’t make your hearing come back but it can make you hear better.there is a bit of background noise if you are in a room FULL of people. I found it difficult to concentrate on both my clients in a room of 50 people being very loud. but when we went outside where the sound carries better it worked EXTREMELY well! I could look at someone accross the playground and hear what they were saying. It works well in my opinion. and yes sometimes the background noise is frustrating but that just means you need to adjust the volume or settings.I’m reccommending this to all my coworkers!

Title: hearing device
Review: I bought this for my husband who does not think he has a hearing problem. He put it on and he was amazed at what he has been missing. This is a great product for the money. I would recommend it for someone that has some hearing loss and is not ready for a hearing aide. It is lightweight and adjustable and battery charge last for as long as a day or more.

Title: Pretty silver, but undependable for hearing.
Review: Okay, but disappointing compared to the STEALTH which I have been using for years, easy to loose because it is black. The Bell & Howell, took forever to charge 48 hours before they worked, then they were undependable, and now they were in my fanny pack that fell off my edical scooter by my apartment complex, disappearing forever, very disappointing, will not reorder the Bell & Howell and I’m sure confusing to people who never had one because the accompaning booklet was all in SPANISH. The 800 # on the backpage never answered. They are easier to see when dropped because they are silver…….. when the sound stops, recharged, doesn’t work again. Very sad. As a toy fine, not a dependable hearing assist device. The Stealth wins hands down.

Review: The Silver Sonic Personal Sound Amplifier was ordered for my elderly mother. When it arrived, we opened it and tried it out. It failed immediately. I took the batteries out and they were so hot that they burned my fingers.When we contacted the vendor to get a replacement or refund. Title: ALMOST PERFECT
Review: I bought this for my 98 year old Mom who has a mild hearing deficit.The amplifier does a great job but it is a bit difficult for her to get on her ear correctly.I think it will eventually be easier but she is still learning.One drawback which I have not been able to find a solution to is the question of replaceable ear tips.The machine comes with 3 but in the end only one is suitable.I would like to order several others of the correct size but I have had no success yet.I am seriously considering stopping by a hearing aid shop to see what they may suggest.One feature that I really appreciate is the re-charging ability.Just great!!!No more running for batterys etc.for the price it is a very suitable gadget!!!
