Review: My main TV does not support Blue Tooth and since I have a hearing issue, I was looking for a wireless setup to work with my TV. I saw the SIMOLIO Wireless Headphones for TV that operate on the 2.4 Ghz frequency and decided to give them a try.Unpacking the box you will find the headphones, a transmitter/charger base, a charging brick with USB cable, a spare battery (nice feature, more about this later) and three interface cable: optical, RCA, and headphone jack. There are also two user manuals included. One quick start sheet that will get you up and running quickly and a more detailed multipage manual that is very complete.Setup is simple. Plug in the base using the included power brick and cable. The base has a charging slot for the spare battery and also charges the battery in the headphones when they are placed on the base. I like the fact that a spare battery is included. Spare batteries are also listed for sale on Amazon.Connection to my TV was very simple. I decided to use the optical audio connection. Remove the caps from the optical cable, plug one end into the TV and the other end into the “from TV” optical connector on the base and you’re ready to go. Note that the base unit has a pass-through feature. If I were going to use the headphones and at the same time, have optical audio directed to a soundbar, the base unit provides that capability for all three connections. This is a great feature.The balance control is on the base unit. The other controls are on the headphones. You have a lot of flexibility here. There are options for volume control, tone selection, stereo/mono inputs and the ability to mute the headphones to allow you to hold a conversation without removing the headphones.The headphones are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. I found that I could even wear them while I still had my hearing aids in place. The sound quality is excellent, and I experienced no lag in the audio.I tried a range test. With the base unit in the house, I went outside and had strong signal response with no drop outs at a range of about 100 feet.I was a bit concerned about signal interference with my in-home WIFI, but had no issues. The instructions recommend you do not place the base unit near your router.Though it is advertised for use with your TV, I used it with my cell phone and Sony PlayStation using the headphone connection and it worked perfectly.So, you want wireless headphones, but can not do Bluetooth? These are a great option. High quality sound, no lag, long connection range, comfortable fit and spare battery included. Highly recommended.

Title: Very nice!
Review: I own lots of headphones, in ear, on ear, over ear, RF, wired, Bluetooth, from many different manufacturers. I needed headphones for watching TV in bed, and none of my headphones was just what I needed. I tried several bluetooth adaptors to use with my bluetooth headphones and they all introduced too much lag so the voices didn’t match the lips, very annoying. I decided it was time to try these Simolio headphones and I think it was a good choice. These were simple to hook up to my TV and for those that aren’t technically minded the instruction manual was very well written and very thorough. The headphones are very comfortable and easy to use and adjust, and sound great. They come with two batteries so you will always have a freshly charged cell when you need one. The charging stand is minimalist and simple to use. The headphones can and should be used with RF for TV watching which will have zero lag of voice to picture, but can also be used with Bluetooth for listening to music, a nice feature. My only criticism is that replacement ear pads are not available on Amazon, hopefully they will get that done soon. Ear pads are the weak link in all headphones and need to be replaced often when headphones are used a lot. I’ve been replacing ear pads on my Sony Studio Monitor headphones for more than 20 years from many different manufactures of ear pads, making them like new again.

Title: These are the best headsets ever!
Review: Easier to set up, used the optical input. The range of the headsets is amazing, can be in the garage, outside and still hear what is happening on the tv. Very nice to hang up and charge. Also the volume being on a wheel instead of a push button is very helpful, you don’t have to click a number of times to get the right volume. Also great for my hard of hearing husband, he pushes the power button and can hear me through the headsets, better than his hearing aids.

Title: Great headset, only one minor issue
Review: I purchased two sets of these, but they paired if both sets were on. They did work very well and are comfortable.I contacted the company explaining the issue and they sent me a return label and a new set – but a different model -which works very well. I also like the fact they included all three methods, to connect to the TV, and can be used on multiple devices.

Title: These headphones are perfect.
Review: Wonderful. I’m 77, terrible hearing, with one ear much worse than the other. I’ve had many TV headphones in the past, and my old Simolios were the best. Their customer service is outstanding, too. I couldn’t wait to try these They are absolutely wonderful. Voice is very clear and sound effects sound so real. One thing I hated about streaming movies was having the volume so high to hear low voice and then they knock you out of chair with a blast of sounds. These dampen those sound surges. Another problem was if people talked to me. I had to take phones off and put hearing aids in. These have a button that shuts off the TV volume and amplifies their voices. There are settings to amplify bass or treble, and to emphasize voice. I am so happy with the headphones.

Title: Intermittently not working with increasing frequency that got us past the return date.
Review: This dual over ear set was to replace another in ear and over ear combo that had the over ear headset fail. Worked well for about two years until the fail. The replacement double over ear has been an extreme disappointment. They work on evening. Place on charge carefully and the next 3 or 4 days they will not function. Then another day of working and then another day of not working. The Wife says throw them away. Sad. Paid hundreds to get bilked. Never, ever, again will I trust this brand.

Review: 1 – Quick Context:I’m a shift worker who often likes to watch loud action films after the wife and kids have gone to bed. I’ve used a great set of RF Sony headphones for years (pic 1), however, they only work using the red and white audio out cables which which were no longer compatible when I upgraded my TV. So the only option I could find were Bluetooth headphones (pic 2) I used these Avantree ones. The problems were multiple 1) the sound only really works line of sight 2) connecting/disconnecting is tedious 3) when I turned off the tv they auto connected to my phone and I accidentally rang my dad at 1am in the morning. I finally found these (pic 3) and am thankfully back on RF after 3 years so much better.2 – The SystemThese headphones connect to your ‘digital audio out’ any tv under 10 years will have it. If you want to connect another external speaker like a sound bar or surround sound system then hook that up to either the ‘eArc HDMI port’ or use the ‘pass through’ on the headset. I have a blue ray surround sound system in the eArc so did not use the pass through and can’t vouch for it. The RF signal is then sent to the headphones directly there’s no need to connect like Bluetooth and no need for ‘line of sight’ which is great because you can walk to the kitchen to get a cup of tea and keeping listening the the programme. To test the phones I put an amazon music playlist through the tv and went and did the housework listening to music; it worked without fault up in the upstairs bedrooms. The sound is loud, clear and not glitchy at all although the sound ‘quality’ is probably not good enough for a audiophile it’s perfectly good for a normal person watching Netflix or football. The volume control is right on the headset and totally independent of the tv sound so I can turn the tv down the headphones up and everyone’s happy. The charger is modern, simple and easy to hook up, I have it on my windowsill the headphones just sit on it and charge. If you pay a few quid for an extra long digital audio out cable (mines 10m) then you can have the headset right by the sofa. My only gripe is the little flaps that hold the Audio cable in are delicate and look like they could break easily so be gentle putting the cables in and out. Often RF headphones are marketed to older people hard of hearing. However, to me this is crazy they are so much clearer quicker and more simple/stable than Bluetooth they should be the standard in every teenagers bedroom.3 – Service CompanyN o problems/Arrived on time. I wanted these headphones when they were unavailable contacted the company and they were responsive and helpful.

Review: Nous avons choisi le duo pour mon mari malentendant et pour moi qui entend bien. Les casques sont de très bonnes qualités et les arceaux larges entourent très bien la tête. La qualité des matériaux au top. Après avoir chargé les casques pendant plus de 3 heures, l’installation a été très facile, nous avons mis le câble optique sur notre télé Samsung et eurêka tout a fonctionné. Nous avons les sons dans le casque et si une troisième personne désire regarder la télé il y a le son qui sort des hauts parleurs de la télé ce qui nous dérange absolument pas, il est possible de mettre le son sur mute de la télécommande. Le son est parfait avec un réglage personnalisé pour les malentendants, un bouton est logé dans le casque, ce qui permet de régler soit l’écouteur de gauche ou de droite. Mon époux étant très malentendant d’une oreille à mis la balance au maximum du côté gauche et il entend parfaitement. Un petit bouton sur le casque vous permet également d’appuyer dessus, ce qui coupe le son et vous pouvez entendre la personne qui vous parle sans enlever le casque. Le volume est aussi réglable. Après avoir porté le casque plus de 3 heures, nous n’avons ressenti aucune gêne, le casque englobe parfaitement les oreilles. Dans l’ensemble nous sommes très satisfaits de notre achat et nous le recommandons à toutes personnes qui veulent avoir une qualité d’écoute.
