Title: Great Skechers alternative to an athletic shoe
Review: I bought my first pair of these (in brown) last year to take on an extensive fall walking tour of gardens in Pennsylvania. I have a wonky back and an iffy left knee, so needed something supportive, comfortable and warmer than a sneaker. They were amazing. Even after walking 3-4 miles each day on uneven paths, my back and knee didn’t ache like usual. This year I took them on a walking trip of Ireland with the same positive results. Skechers have been my go to shoes for gardening for years, but for trips I wanted something dressier than an athletic shoe but with the same support. These absolutely fit my requirements. I’ve even talked shoppers into buying them at Skechers stores. If you’re looking for a nice looking, very comfortable and supportive alternative to an athletic-style shoe, try this one. It’s become my favorite winter shoe.

Review: I’m in between sizes 81/2 & 9 so I ordered both. Definitely run a little big & I kept the 8 1/2. I still have plenty of room with thicker socks. Love the more rounded toe!! The arch support is wonderful & I haven’t needed to use my “inserts” for support. The rubber soles should be helpful in the upcoming winter months with snow & ice. I ordered these booties in black & like them so much that I’m ordering the brown as well today (on sale)!

Title: Nice boot, but runs big!
Review: The boots are nice and comfortable. I loved the arch support, color and style but these boots run way too big and would probably get even bigger once broken in. I ordered a size 8 and they fit like a size 9. I normally wear a 7.5, but went up to a size 8 to wear them with thick socks. Even with the thick socks my feet slid and flopped around in the shoe. Also I received a pair that had broken stitching around the ankle and looked like they had been worn. I returned the boots and since my size 7.5 or even size 7 was not available, I had to re-order from a different source.
