Title: Nice pair of headphones at that price point
Review: The headphones are generally comfortable and sound well, the battery life is absolutely great also and the controls require some getting used to but it’s not hard, after a while you get used to the “joystick”, the quality isn’t on par with premium headphones like the Sonys but for their price they hit the right spot. The app also helps in customization of the sound profile so that’s also a plus.

Title: Where is the bass?
Review: Headphones are great as far as battery life and feel! My only complaints are not being able to hang up the phone with them and the sound quality just being decent. As a bass head I was expecting a little bit more but overall these are good for anyone that wants a good headset with good battery life

Title: NOT advised for sleeping.
Review: I bought these to replace my Jlab over the ear ANC headphones because I’ve worn them out. I only use headphones while I sleep. I listen to podcasts, you tube videos, etc so I needed something comfortable, with rich sound and something that had excellent battery life.THE GOOD:Upon taking these Skullcandy phones out of the box, I was impressed with the sleek look and feel. Once I put them on, I was also impressed with the softness of the earcups and headband. The controls were also intuitive and unique in their design. There is a micro joystick button on one side that allows you to raise or lower volume and allows you to skip ahead or rewind back. After using these for a week, I’ve found the battery life to be EXCELLENT. I’ve only had to charge them once in 7 days and that’s after using them 7-9 hours per night.THE BADSo, like I said, I use headphones mainly for sleeping. My JLab headphones stayed on my head the whole night. These Skullcandys’ did not. I have worn them for about a week and 5 out of 7 nights, I have to go on an Easter egg hunt the next morning to find out where these things have ran off to.Also Bad, either the Bluetooth range of these things is very very short or they’re easily interfered with. I say that because, if I get up to walk to the bathroom at night which is at most 20 steps away, the sound starts cutting in and out. The same thing happens when I turn over in bed from one side to another. This makes me think it’s not so much their range but that they’re easily interfered with. My Jlabs never had an issue with range or interference. I could walk 2-3 rooms away and the sound was still as good as if I were right next to my source even though the signal had to pass through walls.Another thing is the ANC function. On my Jlabs, the ANC has 3 modes. On/off/Be aware. The Skullcandy has the same but honestly, I can tell no difference between when noise cancelling is on and when it’s off. Their aware mode is also less robust than my Jlabs. I have a white noise machine going also when I sleep, (I know. I’m weird). The Jlabs allowed the sounds from my sound machine to be audible, (albeit quieter), during periods of silence or in between podcasts or videos. The Skullcandy headphones don’t have the same quality. Their aware mode is more like a Very soft whisper, all things being equal.So….For me, the search continues for a quality pair of headphones that check all my boxes. If I used these strictly normally (Not lying down), They seem to work OK. There are good and bad points to them but for me and my uses, the negative outweighs the positive so I’ll be returning these. I’m not going to pay $100 for something that doesn’t perform exceptionally in ALL areas.

Review: Headphones do not operate correctly. They randomly pause music, mic randomly works for phone calls but most of the time it dont work at all and the anc is terrible and makes more noise than it cancels.

Ich frage mich ernsthaft, wie dieses Produkt überhaupt das Labor verlassen konnte. Entweder wurde hier gar nichts getestet – oder man hat alle Warnsignale ignoriert.1. Fehlende Grundfunktionen – ein WitzDie Trageerkennung ist komplett unbrauchbar. Der Kopfhörer stoppt ständig von selbst die Musik, obwohl ich ihn ganz normal trage. Beim Training, beim Laufen, sogar beim stillen Sitzen – der Kopfhörer denkt ständig, ich hätte ihn abgenommen. Das ist so lächerlich schlecht umgesetzt, dass es schon peinlich ist.2. Musikqualität? Unterirdisch.Der Klang ist weder sauber noch klar. Dumpf, unausgewogen, billig wirkend. Jeder halbwegs normale Kopfhörer in dieser Preisklasse schlägt den Hesh 540 problemlos. Es gibt überhaupt keinen Grund, warum ein Produkt mit diesem Preis so schlecht abgestimmt ist. Für das Geld bekommt man Konkurrenzmodelle, die um Welten besser sind.3. Noise Cancelling – die größte Frechheit am ganzen GerätEs steht „ANC“ drauf, aber in der Realität hört man alles. Wirklich alles. Jede Stimme, jedes Geräusch, jeden Schritt im Raum. Menschen einen halben Meter neben mir könnten im Takt tanzen und ich kriege es immer noch ungefiltert mit. Das ist nicht einfach schlechtes ANC – das ist ein kompletter Totalausfall.4. Preis-Leistung – absoluter BetrugFür diesen Preis müsste man erwarten, dass zumindest die Basics funktionieren. Stattdessen bekommt man ein Produkt, das sich anfühlt wie ein unfertiger Prototyp. Wenn Skullcandy für so etwas fast dreistellige Beträge verlangt, ist das schlicht peinlich. Flagship-Kopfhörer anderer Marken kosten weniger und liefern zehnmal bessere Leistung.5. Mein Fazit: Schämt euch für dieses ProduktIch würde diesen Kopfhörer niemandem empfehlen. Gar niemandem.Er ist instabil, schlecht abgestimmt, technisch unfertig und qualitativ weit unterhalb dessen, was der Preis verspricht. Der Hesh 540 ANC sollte entweder drastisch im Preis gesenkt, gründlich überarbeitet oder komplett vom Markt genommen werden.Ich schicke das Gerät zurück. Und ich würde jedem raten, genau dasselbe zu tun.
