Title: no istructions that make sense, but works really well once you figure it out
Review: once you figure out how to use it (the instructions are pathetic) it works like a charm

Title: Good product but documentation is not good.
Review: I bought 2 of the energy monitors, 1 for myself (furnace and A/C ) and the 2nd for my daughter (HVAC and Well Pump). i hooked mine up first and it was going well for about 1 month, then I moved it while working on the panel and it stopped working! It turns out that they are temperamental but once you get them correctly adjusted, they work Great. The documentation isn’t very good for trouble shooting so i turned to CoPilot. I explained the problem and WE had it back up and running properly. They are complicated to setup properly. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Iy id well worth the price. I paid for a yearly subscription to have it track $ for me. Lots of other features to be explored in the subscription.

Title: Smart Indeed
Review: I am using this little device to meter my AC. It’s easy to install if the cables are accessible. It needs some understanding of how to hard wire electrical components. Integrating the device into home automation is pretty straight forward. Tuya isn’t perfect but it works for most of it. Five stars from me!

Title: Keep looking.
Review: I was able to connect via 2.4ghz wifi while enclosed in my panel and about 50ft away from WiFi. HA says not compatible through the TUYA app link, doesn’t appear any other means to get it into Home Assistant / HA. The devices adds with no entities available. The software lists at V3.0.22 MCU module v7.11, No updates available in the TUYA app for firmware or software. The device does function within the TUYA app, however has a different older looking device page than my other power meter.

Title: Good potential, could be better
Review: The physical device and connection to my WiFi worked fine, but the App’s energy monitor graph function is fairly limited. I got it to monitor my septic pump, so i could track when the pump is on, and I was hoping to see how often the pump was activating. But the energy usage only plots one data point per hour, so it doesn’t provide a very detailed view. With an app improvement I’d recommend it more.

Title: Very Interesting
Review: I installed this on our distribution panel to measure the total power our household uses, and used the second channel to monitor power usage by our infrared sauna. It’s very interesting to see the results in the app on my phone. Be sure to shut off the power to your panel before installing this!

Title: For professional electrician or engineer or a very advanced DIYer
Review: I got this energy monitor because it seemed to have many more abilities than my plug-in energy monitor from another vendor. However you need direct connections to the wires inside the wall/behind the switch/in the breaker box/solar control panel, etc. places I do not feel comfortable going. In conclusion if you are a pro or an advanced DIYer might be for you.

Title: Did NOT Pair, did not work. Lights up, Phone sometimes sees it but still fails to pair
Review: Did not work, Wasted 2 Days trying to make it pair but still didn’t work after. I wanted to use it with Home Assistant to monitor my Mains and Home Standby coming into the building, but it would not pair to my network on any of my antennas (Wifi 2.4 or 5, Blutooth, Zigbee 3.0, Matter, Z-Wave LR, RF 433.9) and the module was 25feet from the router with all the antennas and my laptop was running on the network next to the transmitter that would not pair. So I Installed the phone app I did not want, and it still did not work or pair right with the phone. It would see it come up randomly but fail to pair (see screen shot). The app gave you a never ending scroll list of things to doom scroll through to try to pair it with then multiple tabs with more things on them to try, but these must be older to a point where they are not supporting them or something where they should just pop up when hitting the pairing option on both entities. The product was easy to install physically into my transfer switch but and get a light to come on, but does not do monitoring for me which is its primary propose so I Would NOT recommend it. Not worth the frustration to deal with with this unit.
