Title: Good clear sound, plenty of volume. Simple for seniors, convenient for all.
Review: We got this for a family member who has trouble seeing and can no longer use her cellphone without assistance. But rather than get a landline installed, or VOIP provider over internet, we got an “XLink BT HD” adapter here on Amazon, that connects this phone to her mobile phone via Bluetooth and it all works great! We programmed the speed dial buttons, quick and easy. Now she can make calls and get calls without our assistance. The sound quality is better than her mobile phone, and she can either use the handset or the speakerphone. The build quality of the phone seems totally fine. Definitely recommend this phone.

Title: Perfect for Seniors with Dementia – Easy to Use and Reliable!
Review: I purchased this phone for my mom, who has dementia, because she kept misplacing her cordless phones. I needed something that would stay in one place and be simple for her to use, and this has been perfect. The large buttons and photo memory dialing make it easy for her to call family without needing to remember numbers. Programming was straightforward, and the picture slots are a fine size. Most importantly, she’s able to use it without confusion. If you need a reliable, user-friendly phone for a senior or someone with memory issues, I highly recommend this one!

Title: A Great Choice for Those Who No Longer Can Handle Smartphone Dexterity
Review: We have been quite happy with this landline phone to replace a smart phone that was just beyond the ability of our family member in hospice care. As it turns out, the photo storage and internet access weren’t really high on the list for someone who just wants to talk to family and friends daily or even multiple times daily. Super easy for the caregiver to program, and easy to use for the person who has lost a lot of hand dexterity. For folks of a certain age, using a desk phone like this comes quite naturally, as this is how they used phones for decades before our smartphone era. I just turned those photos on the buttons over, and printed in big, bold lettering the first initial of their six most often called people; then programed the button to call when pressed. Of course, all the usual functions of a landline phone are available — dialing direct, taking incoming calls, volume adjustment, etc. In all, very pleased with this phone.

Title: Customer Service/Tech Support Non-Existent
Review: Edited 1/1/25: Trying to get tech support to help us retrieve stored messages. The instructions say to press *98, but that only results in an error message. Have tried calling tech support several days now. They only have an answering machine and say they will call back. Tough luck if you miss their call. I have called them back several times with detailed question, asking them to please leave me a voice mail or write an email, but nothing. No website or other assistance. DO NOT recommend.Earlier review: Instead of using color photos, I printed black and white icons for front desk, nursing services, their grown kids – easier to see than color photos on printer paper. This cord is long enough to stretch from the table to the LazyBoy. Good sound quality. This phone works reliably. One of the buttons stopped working for a couple of days until I could get there and reprogram it. Not sure if Mom or Dad had pressed it too hard or what… but it was simple to reprogram and it works perfectly. The steps to program each button are a little counter-intuitive — the dial tone keeps sounding as you’re entering the numbers, so it might sound as if you’re doing something wrong. But follow the directions and it works. We will probably order a second one.

Title: Good product for elderly
Review: bought for an elderly relative. The spaces for the pictures were an inch or so big so I put an initial instead of a picture. This was easier to see. Programming was a bit tricky but once you got the hang of it it was ok. If the person holds the button too long it could reset it. One issueI found was that the person dropped the phone off the table. All the buttons fell out and so did the pictures. Be sure to take a picture of the grid so that you remember whose number is on each button. Sound Quality was good.

Title: Bad connection and static on calls
Review: The size of the buttons and the programmable photo buttons are great. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, the phone does not work well anymore. There’s a ton of static, an echo, and it’s really hard to even hear the person calling. It’s not the connection, because the other phone in the apartment works fine. I’ve changed plugs. I’ve changed locations. It’s the phone.

Title: Great Phone for the Elderly
Review: If you are looking for a landline phone for a ‘senior’, this is a great phone. The photo buttons make it easy for my 101 year old mother-in-law to make a phone call, and the speakerphone works well so she doesn’t have to keep the handset up to her ear. Nice volume control so she can adjust the sound level up to hear. The cord between the base and the handset isn’t very long and she needs to sit right next to the phone to use the handset should she wish to, so we bought a longer cord. Now she can sit back comfortably in her recliner and use the speaker feature. Very happy with this purchase.

Title: Ended up buying two!
Review: Bought the phone to used by my 97yr old Grandmother. She loves the sound quality as it has a volume adjustment. The photo buttons for being able to direct dial the person associated with the button is the best part. The phone also came with hands free option and the reception was clear.

Review: Bought for my mother, who is getting a little forgetful.Easy to program once you decide which are the appropriate instructions to follow.Photo buttons are great, and you can use the punched out card stock (used for the generic packaged photos) for picture sizing when creating your own photos.A true speakerphone feature would have been nice.Packaged instructions indicate you need to include, minimally, an 11 digit format when entering phone numbers (country code & area code & phone number, I presume). The website download instruction are different, and do not mention the number of digits required. I did enter the phone numbers using the 11 digit format, but could not connect locally, so I deleted all but the actual phone number for local calls (which is normal for a corded phone). Worked fine after that. I will update review if the saved numbers delete themselves as others reviewers have noted. The phone is said to be desk or wall mount, but the wall mount is not compatible with a common telephone jack plate as they have not designed a recess into the phone for the raised telephone jack profile, or to accommodate extra phone cord. Shorter cords can be purchased, but a recess or cable caddy would still assist in cord storage. Instructions only indicate screw and wall plug mounting. This seems like a failed design feature that has been provided in any wall compatible phones I have had previously. I would surmise most people with a high mounted wall phone jack would want to use the wall jack rather than screw the phone to the wall adjacent to the jack.

Review: I bought this for my 96 and 99 year old grandparents, as from the description and features I thought it would be the best one for their hard-of-hearing ears.I would not necessarily recommend this product for the following reasons:1) The ringer volume on the highest setting is not very loud. (My regular phone can ring louder on the max setting). The tone of the ring is high-pitched, which is not good for those who are hard of hearing. The lower the tone, the better/easier it will be heard.2) There are two parts to this complaint.A)The handset volume is consistently set on the 3rd setting. If you want it louder it is quite a jump to the 4th (highest) setting. You might call this 4th setting ‘boost’. While it is great volume for those that need it, the problem is that it only lasts for that call. Once the handset is hung up, the volume resets to setting 3. With each and every call, you have to ‘boost’ the volume to the max #4 setting. This makes the phone rather difficult for those who are elderly, with memory problems, or fumbling arthritic fingers.B) This handset volume feature is a button on the front of the phone–that can easily be pushed accidentally–rather than a switch on the side. Not very good.3) The Photo dial feature can be confusion to some elderly/dementia people. It’s not just as simple as picking up the handset and pushing the picture–that would have been great! Unfortunately there’s a third step involved–you also have to push the ‘dial’ button. This may be simple for some people, but to advertise this as perfect phone for dementia-type people is a bit misleading. My grandmother has dementia (mild to severe). If it were simply picking up the handset and hitting the picture it would be no problem. But to throw in this third step does make it a problem, and therefore useless. It needs to be as simple as possible. Pushing buttons and adjusting volume each call does not make the phone simple to use.To top things off, the phone I received came in an opened, damaged box that looked like it had been beaten and battered around long before it was ever put in the bubble envelope to send to me. As a result, the phone was defective–there was a loud hum that distracted from the phone conversation, and voices were not coming through clear at all but quite muffled. I tested this on multiple jacks in my house. The one I called to test the phone also used both his cell phone and his regular landline to test the hum and the muffled voice out. While I don’t expect that everyone who orders this phone will get a battered defective one like I did, I would not recommend it based on my previous points.I hope this review helps–and wish you and your loved ones the best in this unfortunate aging process!

Review: Great phone for challenged seniors. They can automaticly call out just by pressing one large key to get pre-programmed people. If they are getting telemarketing calls we just turned off the ringer.
