Title: Great Entry Level Wireless Earbuds
Review: These Sony earbuds are my first truly wireless earbuds. For the price they are a perfect entry point. I bought these so that I could have noise cancellation when operating loud equipment for my job that doesn’t require true hearing protection.The noise cancellation works well in most situations, it is able to take the noise of a loud high school gym down to a whisper and completely eliminate ambient noise in a room. The buds also include an ambient noise mode that plays the audio around you with no noticable delay. Great for listening to music while still being aware of what’s around you or if someone needs to get your attention.The earbuds fit well and come with several different sizes based on your ear canal. Make sure you figure out the right size for you to make the seal better for noise cancelling.The tap controls function smoothly and are slightly configurable from the Sony app. Bluetooth connection was simple once the app is installed, the app also allows you to update the software of the earbuds.The battery life is sufficient for daily use and the case has plenty of extra charge. It does not take long to charge the earbuds.The construction of the earbuds seems relatively durable. Visually they look a lot nicer than airpods and many other wireless earbuds. The case however feels cheap and plastic.One thing to watch out for is not getting the beds positioned on the charging prongs of the case. This will cause the bud that is not connected to stay on and drain it’s battery.Overall, a great low cost pair of earbuds that would be good for someone just getting into wireless noise cancelling buds or someone looking to save a dime over flashier more expensive brand options.

Title: If your price point is low THESE ARE FOR YOU
Review: Holy cow! Let’s put this in perspective. If you are an audiophile these are NOT for you. In this case you get MORE than you pay for but not what you want from higher prices pods. The blue color is beautiful. Personally not worth the premium but I like them and will keep them. These are amazing. For the price. The noise cancelling is good. I am walking the dog. With ANC I hear the car rush buy but I don’t hear their engines. I don’t hear the conversations of the people in the distance. I hear the crunch of my dog bag but it’s muffled and not as loud and crunchy. In other words this is not perfect ANC. Anyone who whines about it needs to move on. The sound is great. Not perfect. The bottom line. If you are human. And you lose your pods occasionally or need a spare this is the pair for you. I personally find them comfortable and airpods always feel like they are falling out. I don’t notice much difference in sound quality. Again I am just a bloke who needs quality over perfection. The buttons are a little too easy to hit accidentally. Haven’t done much with the app. So long story short if you want great pods at a crazy reasonable priceade by a reputable company go ahead and buy these and tell em Scott sent you. (update Two weeks after wearing not sure how I feel about the blue buds. Granted all buds show ear wax but there is something particularly noticeable and annoying for me personally about these blue buds. I know it’s stupid but just had to point out.

Title: Worth the money
Review: Comfortable and sound quality is excellent. I have a pair of AirPod pros and I like these more. The noise cancelling is great, especially in loud rooms with fans or low hums and they fit well in your ear which helps. That’s a problem I always had since day one on my AirPods. The touch controls aren’t too sensitive so you shouldn’t have to worry about accidentally bumping it. The case and actual ear buds are very sturdy and stylish, Sony is always reliable. The battery life is better than AirPods. They do stick out of your ear significantly so if you’re trying to hide them under a beanie or something I wouldn’t go for these. I also own the over the ear Sony WH-1000XM4 and the sound quality is almost equal for a lot less money.

Review: Constant chime, zero assistant – disappointing for “smart” earbudsI bought the WF-C710N specifically to trigger my phone’s voice assistant from the earbud. On paper they support a voice assist function with a long press on the right earbud. In reality, all I ever get is a little chime and nothing else.Yes, I updated the firmware to the latest version, reset the buds, and carefully went through Sony’s Headphones app. The right earbud is set to “Launch the Voice Assist Function,” my phone’s default assistant is set correctly, and “Hey Google” works perfectly if I speak directly to the phone. The only thing that doesn’t work is the one feature I bought these for – using the bud to actually launch the assistant.Instead of a reliable assistant button, I get an inconsistent tap interface, no way to remap the assistant to another gesture, and a long-press that just… chimes. That’s it. No Google Assistant, no ChatGPT, no hands-free control – just a sound effect.For casual music listening they’re fine, but as “smart” earbuds they’re a fail. If you want dependable control of a voice assistant from your earbuds, I’d look at other brands. These are going back for a refund.

Review: I got these for $118 on 12 Oct 2025. The sound quality is absolutely brilliant, so enjoyable to listen to all types of music I find myself using them much more than previous buds I’ve owned. The switch between fully noise cancelling and ambient mode, so you can hear more of the sounds around you is very effective, and requires just a single tap on the left bud to switch works really well. Just blown away by how two little buds can sound so good!
