Title: Outstanding
Review: These headphones are amazing. I started off with the WH-1000XM3, they were so great that my husband and dad bought a pair for themselves as well. When my dog ate my pair, I purchased the WH-1000XM4. They are by far the best pair I have owned- I use them when I am moving the lawn, noise cancelling feature blocks out the mower completely. Sound is great and they are very comfortable. They automatically connect to my Bluetooth as soon as they are turned on. You are paying for the quality and they are worth it- much better than my Bose or Beats headphones.

Title: If you want noise canceling headphones, get these!
Review: These are probably the best noise canceling headphones available currently … based on reviews and my own (and friends’) experience. I bought these on a friend’s recommendation who had search reviews for weeks before buying. She was spot on. These are amazing. The sound quality is great, and the noise canceling is even better. They are also cheaper than other brands that aren’t as good. They are comfortable and easy to set up. Battery life is about 8 hours. I have not used the mic, so I cannot comment there.

Title: Fantastic Noise Cancellation
Review: I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I got these to replace my M3 which was falling apart after using it for 6 years. The M4 however has all the features the M3 has and has better noise cancelling. As someone who struggles a lot with outside noises, I’ve been using this for everything:To go to the gym and be able to listen to my own music in peace and not be disturbed by the gym music;To sleep through the morning noise of construction and land mowers;To enjoy less noise in flights;Battery life has been excellent so far as well.Overall great purchase and so far has been worth every penny. The sound quality is also great, but what really makes it outstanding is the sound proofing; both the physical and the active cancellation are excellent.

Title: Tried others loved the Sony’s
Review: I watched a YouTube interview with Skunk Baxter and he mentioned he liked the Audio Technic head phones. I thought if good enough for the Steely Dan guitarist I would give them a try. Sad to say I was not happy, so I gave the Sony’s a try. I’m really happy with them. Excellent sound that can be fine tuned to my ear. Very comfortable and light weight compared to the Audio Technics. I noticed some reviews complained that when they talk the head phones stopped working. That is actually a feature that can be disconnected.

Title: Wow! Greatest Headphones for Noise Cancelling.
Review: If you need noise cancelling, here it is. I got a little anxious on plane flights. The noises made me nervous. These are beautiful. Instructional videos on relieving anxiety on flights called out the XM4 specifically, more than once. Lots of great reviews on Amazon and Reddit. I’m so glad I did my research. I never panicked once on my flight and the features make them SO easy to use. And like all Sony headphones, the sound is great. The stress these saved me in flying was worth the price of the headphones, but now I also have a great set of headphones as well!

Review: I bought these can to replace a set of NC Sonys that lasted for many years. These cans are simply fantastic! The sound quality is awesome. The noise cancelling is absolutely amazing, once you wrangle the typically finicky Sony settings. There are multiple NC settings to adjust depending on whether you’re on the move or sitting etc. I love the touch controls and quickly adapted to them. Very easy to adjust settings and take phone calls. The adjustable EQ is great and I like the customisable settings. The fit and feel is great, very comfy, and these puppies are perfect for the gym, where the NC just about completely filters out the doof doof, and I can hear my Audibles and music perfectly. The App is relatively easy to use, once you flick through the layers, although the Sony registration process is clunky, and I still haven’t managed to wrangle that to success. That is disappointing as some settings require the user to login, and Sony are very successfully defeating my efforts on that score! They come with a stylish carry case, containing other leads etc, and these cans fold into and store really well in the case. If you get some sweat covers for the ear pads, like I did, you may find the covers try to lift off the pads, when the cans are folded into the case; it just requires some gentle finesse to avoid this. Overall, a fabulous set of cans which, while the design is around 4 years old, still deliver fantastic sound, comfort, and value for the price, and are cheaper than their replacements, with only modest ‘improvements’ for the extra cash. Review: Do your research on forums from people who have owned these. For sitting still they will be fine but don’t try to bend over or do any activity whilst wearing these as they will end up on the floor. I have cheap headphones that don’t sound as good but they do stay on my head.
