Review: This toilet grab bar has been very useful to have in my restroom. Sometimes I do need a little support to get up. It was relatively easy to install, and it didn’t take long. Once installed, it was very strong, and I can comfortably put my weight on it as I go up. It fits in my restroom well, and it isn’t wobbly at all.Overall, it is a solid choice for a toilet grab bar. I would recommend it.

Title: Very Sturdy Support Safety Bar for Standing Support
Review: This was a solid, quality safety bar to help my mom lift herself off our toilet. I imagine you could use this safety bar anywhere in the home for assistance getting up. This bar was very easy to install with the provided hardware, and will not be destructive when removing if no longer needed for support. The bar is not slippery and is coated white. We installed this by the toilet as there is a standard safety bar on one side, but this helped with standing upright from a sitting position.The bar supported my mom’s weight (200 pounds, 5’4 inches tall) and she was able to stand up. It is mounted to a support stud. It’s very durable and functional, and also has good, heavy weight. It’s also very stylish looking.Pro: provides needed support to stand, easy to installCon: None noted.I recommend this for anyone needing help getting up from a seated position. In addition to the elderly population, it would also help anyone recovering from an injury.

Title: Smart added floor support for safety
Review: No instructions or info but easy enough to figure out. A little tricky to install at the perfect wall height, such that the support at the end of the grab bar folds out onto the floor (for added stability). That height restriction could conflict with the height preference of the user, but floor support is a smart addition for stability and safety – – versus other toilette grab bars that only extend from the wall and can’t bear as much weight. Despite that added floor support, a suggestion to at least try for wall installation into a stud would seem appropriate.

Title: It comes with tools and instructions
Review: I received this heavy duty Grab bar. I thought this would work well in a bathroom that I have, which is small, and have nothing you can grip on when standing, or if you just loose your balance. It feels, and looks very strong and sturdy. It’s easy to attach to the wall. It actually raises up out the way, so you only let it down when needed. It even has night time glow strips, so you can see what you’re grabbing onto. I think this is much needed if you also have an older person in the home dealing with balance.

Title: Beware the slipping of the leg
Review: This retractable toilet bar is exactly what I was looking for and didn’t know existed.I was happy to find it while scrolling and even more excited that it worksMom’s bathroom has the shower to the right of the toilet so no place to put a grab bar. This retractable bar is perfect. Totally recommend this bar for the elderlyEdited on Dec 19, 2025:After using it for 4 month, This bar isn’t as safe as I first thought. The problem is the leg. When you bring the rail down you have to be extra careful that the foot is at a 90 degree angle. If you don’t pay attention, the leg slips forward, and the rail that you lean on goes down. This can be very dangerous for anyone trying to lean on the rail. Mom weighs under 100lbs but when I saw the leg slip forward, I immediately removed the entire grab bar and patched the wall.Be careful with your loved ones…..Too bad because it was a great concept
