Title: Great support for knee surgery recovery!
Review: As my 80-year-old father is recovering from knee surgery, this stand assist has been a lifesaver by providing perfect support. The stand aid was very simple to assemble. The built feels very durable and very sturdy that my father feels quite secure and safe using it. The height adjustable feature is a plus which I can easily adjust it to the perfect height for my father’s needs. The best part is it’s lightweight that easy to move.

Title: A great support for my 93 year old mom!
Review: I love this support! It was a big help for my mom yesterday when using a public rest room at her semi annual appt with her gerontologist. My mom cannot lift her arms very high, so even the bars on the walls adjacent to accessible toilets are tough for her to use. I brought this mobile support for her to lean on while I assisted her with standing from the toilet. (I also bring a mobile commode riser, and this helps her feel more confident, as she does at home with her riser which has support arms installed on both sides.) I also used this support when helping her out of the car and into the wheelchair so she didn’t need to reach for the car door.Note: We did a few run throughs at home with her O.T. prior to this and had to remind my mom to press “downward” on the support, not “outward,” since it will move if you push strongly outward on it. But, otherwise, it is very stable (no wobbling at all, as happened with another, similar support I purchased and returned). And this is so light that I was able to transport it easily with her wheelchair. (I was able to tuck it upside down, behind the vertical support pilow at the back of her her wheelchair seat and then I hung her light, foldable walker on that. (She used the walker to get from her wheelchair to the commode in the accessible bathroom.) It worked out beautifully. It may sound like a lot of equipment, but it really wasn’t when all neatly organized together. I’ll try to take a picture to post with this in case it might help you! I was very grateful that someone helped me with the arrangement of the equipment so I want to “pay it forward” if I can!

Title: Solid, light, but narrow base.
Review: Comfortable grip. Seems solid. Base should probably be wider. You could not use this to pull up from from too low, as it would tip. Seems good for support from standing.Responsive company support.

Title: No more falls!
Review: I love these! I bought two of them and use them to help me stand up from my wheeled computer chair. But I did have to change my routine a bit. First, I now turn my chair completely around so that it backs up to my desk — this keeps it firm and does not allow it to slide out from under me. Then I place one Stand Assist Bar on the left, and one on the right near my feet. I place my hands on the horizontal bar (not on the top) because it is level with my hands when I am sitting. Then, to stand up, I lean forward placing my body directly above my feet, and simultaneously push down on the bars. Once I am standing, I then grab hold of the top bars, and use them as canes — if I want to use them for short jaunts — or I set them near my computer chair as I switch to my rollator for longer trips around the house. This has turned out to be a very stable way for me to stand up from my wheeled computer chair. I have not fallen since I started doing it this way (thank God!). Then when I want to sit down, my chair is still backed up against the desk which makes it easier to sit down in, too. I always make sure the Stand Assist bars are within reach for when I want to stand up. I am very grateful for them. They really do make my life easier. I am careful with each step of the process, placing them precisely, and I thank God every time I stand up, without falling down. It’s a real blessing.

Title: Excellent Stand Assist for chair, couch and getting up from the bed.
Review: -Extremely light weighted.-Easy to assemble.- Easy to move around. My 90 years old mom enjoys using it to get up from the bed with both hands, sofa and chair and move around the apartment. She said it’s a lot better for her than to use a cane.Highly recommend it.

Title: Good product, worth buying
Review: A great assistive tool! My father has limited mobility, and this standing aid is not only stable, but also flexible in height adjustment according to different chairs. The gripping area is very thoughtfully designed with non-slip texture, which makes it safe to use. It is also very light and easy to move, not bulky at all, so practical!

Title: Too light
Review: This is not sturdy at all. It won’t support anybody because the base is too light as well as the whole body.
