Title: Regaining Balance
Review: “Tai Chi for Seniors” was written by someone who truly understands the worries many seniors have about falling, stiffness, and losing independence. The author explains Tai Chi in a warm, encouraging way that makes it feel safe and doable, even if you’ve never exercised before or have joint pain. The short 10-minute routines are easy to fit into daily life, and the 4-week plan builds confidence without pressure or guilt if you miss a day. I especially appreciated the clear illustrations, safety tips, and seated options, which make the movements feel accessible on both good days and not-so-good ones. Unlike other Tai Chi books that can feel intimidating or overly technical, this one focuses on real people, real bodies, and real concerns. Overall, it’s a comforting and practical guide that helps seniors move more confidently and regain control over their bodies.

Title: Body Health with Tai Chi
Review: Great detailed book with pictures. I turned to Tai Chi in order to improve my mobility. I love the detailed instruction with pictures. I’m still lifting my weights and doing my cardio.Ths book was recommended to me by a friend. As we get older I think it’s important to become very mindful about your body and how you move it and how you can keep it agile. This book will make it easy just incorporating a few minutes a day is all you need. There are chair and standing options and you can go your own pace. Tai Chi is a good way to improve the stiffness in the joints. The very deliberate movements and concentration are good for your mind. This book would make a great present

Title: Perfect for Starting Tai Chi After 60
Review: This book delivers exactly what it promises: a safe, gentle, adaptable and practical introduction to Tai Chi for older adults. The clear 4-week plan with 10-minute daily routines is brilliantly manageable. I especially appreciate the constant seated options and emphasis on safety-first movement, making it accessible for beginners with stiffness or balance concerns. Beyond the exercises, the included guidance on nutrition, lifestyle, and creating a supportive practice space adds tremendous value. It’s a compassionate and well-structured guide that empowers seniors to build confidence, stability, and independence at their own pace. Highly recommended.

Review: My mother in law is 78 years old. I read through this book to help gain some ideas on how to help her keep moving and stay upright the best she can. It has absolutely helped her! She is able to keep moving now and the moves are simple and easy for her to understand. I truly believe any adult who needs assistance in gaining strength would benefit from this book.

Title: Safety for seniors via tai chi
Review: This book is really for any age but it does highlight areas that are more senior friendly. It has detailed instructions for poses, including pictures, & even offers suggestions for herbal remedies that work best for different areas of concern. I like that it also offered pictures for certain exercises/poses. Although they weren’t very detailed like the instructions were. All in all a great read for seniors or for any age really
