Title: Basic Info Only
Review: I’ve had good luck with the “Everything” series but this is the exception. I was hoping for clever solutions, new ideas, and ways to improve on what I’ve already done. Alas, not in this book. If you’ve ever read anything anytime anywhere on organization, decluttering, and pruning down your belongings, you can skip this book with a clear conscience. It’s really a composite of information other people have already written but not as detailed. A big disappointment.

Title: Good info on organizing but needs more images
Review: I like the book but I’m a visual person; I need visual images of storage examples in order to “get it”. This book does lack in visual examples of storage. Also I thought this book was all about room by room storage; what to use, examples of different alternatives to store my stuff etc. Instead it was more about how to organize which I think is entirely different. If you are looking for how to organize detailed instruction with some info about storage and images aren’t important to you then I WOULD recommend purchasing this book.

Title: Home Storage for keeps
Review: Originally found this book at the library. I was so impressed that I had to get my own copy to highlight and refer back to. I am reading this book from cover-to-cover and am finding lots of ways to stop the clutter before it begins at our new-to-us home.We are moving!?! We are both pack rats and have been working a year to empty our abode of 16 years.I have begun making lists to keep us on track and am thinking of storage in a different way. No “junk drawer” in my new kitchen. Lost & Found basket on the dryer. Spice bottles will not become permanent residents; they will be dated as they come in the door. Do we really need both a breakfast bar/island and a kitchen table, plus computer/phone desk? Lots of duplicates (and triplicates and quads) are out the door to find new homes at our local thrift shop.I have a number of other books on organization, but this one strikes a grand chord for me. pj
