Review: I enjoyed reading 80% of the book, but 20% was political BS. It was an intriguing story, full of suspense and misfortune. The non-political side was well written, however the political side was so ridiculous, it pulled down on the script.

Title: Wow! What an Incredible Story!
Review: This is the first James Patterson book I’ve read and WOW am I impressed! Riveting story, fast paced, not too graphically violent, twists I didn’t see coming, wonderful ending. Great characters, I loved them all, so real. And the short chapters really made reading a 400+ word book fly by. I could hardly put it down when everyday life intruded. I’m so happy I finally gave Mr Patterson a try and now I’m heading down the Patterson rabbit hole, so many books, so little time. The First Gentleman was a wonderful read and great start to what has become my Patterson obsession. I hope this book becomes a movie.

Title: 1st Gentleman
Review: Wow. My wife strongly suggested I read this book, She was right on. Well written with great believable dialog. The twists and turns of the story and plot were so entertaining. The buildup to the final chapters kept me reading. I really liked the way/means the writers wrapped up their story. They did not leave the reader “hanging” by finishing the story and the characters. Thanks, a great read that cut into my sleeping time!

Title: Can’t Get Enough Of These Two Authors…
Review: This book was definitely a page turner to the end, but it was the end that kept me from giving it a 5-star rating. In their efforts to wrap it up, they left out a lot of details that would have given me, as the reader, better closure. I don’t want to spoil this for anyone who hasn’t read it yet, so I won’t get into what disappointed me. It is just my personal opinion, and I have no doubt many will disagree with me. The storyline itself was wonderful, and it had a lot of twists and turns that kept it going. I read it well into the early morning hours to finish it. Once it got to the trial, I couldn’t put it down. I had to know if the subtle hints from the authors made my suspicions true… Excellent read… highly recommend it.
