Title: Very good read that is hard to stay away from
Review: When I was looking into this book and reading non-spoiler reviews, a common thing I read was Freida’s books were hard to get into. I didn’t have that at all. They were easy to get into and easy to follow along with.The Housemaid did not go in the direction I initially thought. There were several unexpected plot twists and reveals that really added to the story. In fact, after reading part of the book, when you get to the plot twists, it’s a revelation. “Ohhh this makes sense now.”Trust me, whatever you predict for this story is not going to be accurate. Highly recommend The Housemaid. I’ll be looking into more of her books. My only real criticism is that there was an element introduced which was never followed up on. It was mentioned a couple times, never again, and remains an open part of the plot. Finally, at the epilogue, that honestly made me mad and changed the entire dynamic of what this story was about. I’m very disappointed with that.

Review: “The Housemaid” by Freida Mcfadden ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5“What do you like to read?” “Books.”“What kind of books?”“The kind with words.”Pros- Wow, okay Freida Mcfadden absolutely delivered with this one. For the longest time, I said I would only read romance until I was finally convinced to read a thriller, and I am so glad I did. With that being said, I will definitely be reading more, especially from this author! I think it took me a little longer to get through the first couple of chapters because I was still super iffy, but once I got a little bit deeper into the story, the more interesting and engaging it got. 🤩The characters with each person’s own unique personality and the detailed settings really added to the story and plot in the best way. It gave me an understanding and really came full circle at the end. When I tell you I was not expecting that ending, I mean it. It might be because I’m a newbie to this genre, but it was great. I really liked how the conclusion of the book didn’t end on a cliffhanger. Title: Addictive
Review: Wow! I could not put this one down. Brisk and addictive with enticing character development. I had not previously read any of McFadden’s work but I am correcting that immediately. This fast-paced psychological thriller had me on edge from page one to the shocking ending.Millie is an ex-con, living in her car and desperately searching for a job. As she interviews in the palatial Winchester home, she recognizes the improbability of landing this sweet job once the background check reveals her recent prison time. When Nina calls to offer her the job as live-in housekeeper, she believes all her prayers have been answered, but nothing in her life could have prepared for the psychological rollercoaster she just embarked on. Buckle up for a wild a ride!

Title: A must read!
Review: I got this book yesterday and had it finished by tonight! It was an amazing read. So many twist and turns, easy to follow and really suspenseful! I haven’t read a book this quickly in years. I’m anticipating the movie that comes out in December, so I had to see what all the raves were about and it is truly a well written book and I won’t give any spoilers, but it’s my type of read.

Review: Read this book once before but chose to re-read ahead of the film coming out. Loved, loved, LOVED this book. Thought I’d cracked the plot but oh no! I love how Freida’s writing leads you down one path and then there’s twist after twist. It even got to the point where you don’t want to keep reading because you can’t quite believe what you’re reading but you just can’t pull yourself away. A true psychological, gripping, thriller, 5*
