Title: Good magnification and lighting options.
Review: I’ve been using this microscope to view fine details on coins for coin collecting. It does a great job of magnification and provides multiple methods for lighting your object. The only drawback is that when you first power it up it pops up an on screen display that asks if you are plugging up to communicate or charge only. I wish it would just remember the last setting until I’ve unplugged it and plugged it in again.

Title: Great for science nerds like me
Review: Works well:This 68-year-old female science nerd is having great fun with this microscope, my first since childhood.  Easy to assemble, easy to use.  Love that it can take photos and videos.  I needed to purchase a few extras: a micro SD card adapter (so I can transfer photos and videos to my PC using its “normal” size SD card slot), and two 5V/2A chargers.  Three parts of the microscope require occasional charging, but not all at the same time.  The scope itself charges fairly quickly, within 2-3 hours so far.A few tips:  (1) Be sure to use the remote right away to set your current date/time so it will be correct on photos and videos you save.  (2) Don’t use a 5V/3A charger because that can damage the batteries — 3A is standard now, but this machine uses the older lower amp chargers.  (3) The fine focus knob, as others have mentioned, does have a “loose” or “sloppy” feel, as if it is not fully engaging, but patience and a very slow turning of the knob has worked for me.  (4) If you want to take a photo or a video, first make sure that the correct icon appears at the upper left of the screen.  The M button switches between photo, video, and playback.  It helps to rest one hand gently on top of the microscope monitor in the center to hold it steady while you push the OK button so the lens doesn’t wiggle.  The microscope is steady enough when using it to view anything, but can move a little when the monitor section is touched.  (5) I bought a pack of black cardstock paper and cut a few sheets into quarters, and always place my specimens on the papers rather than right on the stage.  This makes it very easy to move any specimen around without touching it again by simply moving the paper it is on, and also keeps the stage clean.  (6) Push down gently with a fingernail to remove the micro SD card from its slot on top of the monitor — it will bounce up just high enough to grasp it.  Do the same when inserting it back into place, a firm but gentle push down with a fingernail until it locks into place. So far I’ve been looking at dead insects I find and lots of flowers and plant parts from my gardens, using the 1500X lens.  Will attach a few photos.  So far I’ve learned that every flower, no matter how tiny, has even tinier creatures in it.  And nearly every plant part except flower petals have very fine hairs.

Title: You need more stuff
Review: You will need to purchase – 2 USB-c cables to connect to power the microscope and base, a charger and the HDMI cable to connect to computer screen. The manuals packing list includes the 2 cords and the HDMI cord but it also says “Accessories may be updated without prior notice. Mine didn’t come with any cords.

Title: Screw can’t be tightedn to keep it from falling forwards.
Review: I haven’t had time to use to the fullest. and should have so I could have returned it if it wan’t up to par my loss. I wanted something that i could view going through my computer on the larger monitor. Which I have tryed yet so that my fault. There is one proroble is if you don;t tighten the bottom screw it will fall forward and could fall into and or on something and damage the screen big problem. I should have took the time to use it more just to see. If I cold I would return it and up grade
