Title: Totally useless translation pen
Review: Very disappointed in this translator pen. It will only translate to Chinese and it doesn’t allow you to change the language. I bought it for Italian translation. You can only change the language to a few languages, not the many that the product description states you can. when trying to translate written, if you don’t stay on the line EXACTLY it picks up only part of what is written or something that is not even in the line of letters or shows you are trying to translate gibberish. It did not come with any instruction on how to use such as choosing the languages you want to translate. totally useless pen. Totally inaccurate and functionality is non existent. Don’t waste your money

Title: First step to a Universal Translator, as used in Star Trek
Review: I bought this out of curiousity, not believing it could do what it said. First I tried Spanish (Mexican) off line, because we’re going to Mexico in a few months. Worked great! Then I brought it online and tried Bulgarian, because we have an adopted grandson from Bulgaria. It worked! So my son in law told me there were apps for the phone – but they did word translation. This does sentence translation, giving you the meaning of whats written. An added use: our grandaughter has some reading issues – if you have English as the input language, it reads it aloud. And solves her issue.

Title: Mispronounces words, cheaply made.
Review: I purchased this pen to help my daughter with simple reading. Unfortunately there’s very few options available for just reading. She doesn’t need translations, just help with identifying and pronunciation. Unfortunately this pen has a lot of errors with pronunciation. Perhaps it’s good for translations but if it cant correctly read English I have to wonder how accurate it is for other languages. One final comment, after barely using the device 6 or 7 times the charging cable came apart and had to be replaced.
