Title: Good solution for someone who loses their readers.
Review: This is an inexpensive solution for someone like me who keeps misplacing my reading glasses. Now, I have a pair everywhere I need them. They are good quality and even have a microfiber bag to protect them.

Title: nose pieces are not the same
Review: Great price, but, they have changed… Don’t expect the nose pieces to be as pliable (comfortable) as the “older” units, much stiffer material…

Title: Excellent
Review: I’ve always purchased my glasses at local retailers and the strongest magnification I can find is 3.25, but TruVision offers every magnification anyone could ever want. Every pair of glasses I’ve bought in the past from local stores didn’t very last long, are cheaply made, and break or scratch easily. Well, I’m so glad I found these TruVision glasses on Amazon. First, they’re packed in a nice box and each pair (I bought a 3-pack) has it’s own soft case. Nice touch. The first thing I noticed upon opening was the nice weight and feel of high quality, strong glasses – and I was very surprised. They felt nothing like the cheap glasses I’ve been buying at my local dollar store or grocer. When I put them on they fit immediately. I didn’t have to bend them or make huge adjustments. They also grip my face well and don’t slip. Most importantly, almost every off-the-shelf pair of I’ve bought in the past has an area of imperfection right around the edges of the lens that causes a blurred, “googly eye” effect when looking out of the very edges of the glass.. But these TurVisions are crystal clear the entire length and width of the lens right to the very edges. I love the design & style too. Most every pair I’ve bought in the past are bent incorrectly and not to my liking. They always seem to have an “up-curve” bend from the middle of the frame that reminds me of an outdated 60’s or 70’s look and I have to bend them down so the lenses appear straight across at the tops and look decent. These TruVisions, however, are the complete opposite. They were ready to go out of the box. The rims / lenses are designed to be straight across the tops, offering a modern, sleek, low profile look with no bending or adjustments needed.. Will definitely buy again no doubt.

Title: Did Not Disappoint
Review: Item description led me to believe these glasses were worth trying — and the seller did not disappoint. Better quality and better price than those carded ones at the local all-mart store.I was prompted here to rate these for their “Light weight,” “Comfort,” and “Sturdiness” qualities. I gave them 5 stars for sturdiness and left the others blank, even though I would like to rate them highly in those other areas. Here are my reasons. The glasses *are* light weight, if not quite as feather-weight as some others I have had — but I consider that a GOOD thing, because the comfort of those lighter glasses came at the cost of quality; all of them broke or became bent way too easily. These, being made of sturdier materials , may be ever so slightly less lightweight, but I view that as a huge plus. I expect these to last much longer than the last few cheapies I bought at allmart. As for comfort, I like the spring-loaded temples — and the smoothness of those plastic pieces that rest on and behind your ears. I have had other glasses with very slight ridges on the ends (probably due to the molding process), which can become irritating with long periods of wear These do not suffer from that. Nice and smooth. Yet, I cannot give them an honest rating for comfort because they are just a tad bit too small for me. That won’t stop me from wearing them, though, because in every other way, I really like these glasses (though I would prefer the lenses were slightly larger, too). I just won’t wear them for hours on end; I will need to find larger glasses — hopefully from *this seller* — for long reading sessions.Whatever shortcomings I mentioned, those are on me. I don’t know what size glasses I need for my large skull, but I’m learning. Also, take a good look at the lens size. I suspect that the fit and lens size will be fine for most people — and for those people, I think they would be happy with these glasses.

Title: Ok Readers but diopter is not true
Review: These readers do have good quality optics, and frames but there were some issues.Optics are great, no scratches, no distortions, no tints. The lenes are about half height, which is ok for me, it’s a style choice that compromises on function. I’m happy with the lens! The primary issue, the 1.00 diopter is more like 1.25, as they have a focal distance of less than 0.8M vs. where they should be which is 1M. This makes these glasses pretty much useless for my needs. So much so, I just ordered more readers from another company. It’s ok, I needed spares anyway.Another issue is the nose pieces, they have sharp edges, and while the edge doesn’t contact your nose, it’s still there. Is it so much to ask to deburr the nose pads and wires? Some home rework with a file can fix it, but come on! I would gladly pay more for a fully finished product.Frames aren’t wide enough for me, smaller than other readers I’ve bought on Amazon. (I knew this buying them) The ear pieces are spring based, so they’ll accommodate my big head.If you’re wondering, these glasses do not have anti reflective coatings and are not blue blocking. I hate blue blocking readers because they tint everything yellow. I’m happy someone is still making clear readers! It would be nice to offer the anti reflection feature (AR). That would be a major plus.
