Review: My dad has lost a lot of his hearing. I would go to visit my parents and he would have the tv up so LOUD so he could hear it. It would give me a headache. So a friend of his recommended TV Ears and he said his mother can now hear their tv perfectly and not blast the tv!! So I immediately bought a pair. Our first set was the traditional one that has the base and all. Those were excellent.This set works a bit different. All you get is the headset and a charging cord. When you open the box, immediately charge the headset to provide a full charge. Then you pair them to your tv. That was a bit tricky. The blue light was solid and it wasn’t triggering any menus. So I had to keep playing with it and then all of a sudden a pairing menu came up and it paired to the tv.Once paired, when you turn the tv on everything is normal. Then you turn on the ears and a menu would come up asking me do I want to “connect” the TV Ears. And that occurs every time you turn the TV Ears on. The directions mention to let the TV Ears run down to almost empty before you charge again to prevent battery issues.Overall if your parents have any issues hearing ease get these for your house!! Oh my gosh, save yourself the headaches from a blasting television!! Trust me you will get your sanity back!!!!!! Good luck! 🙂
