Title: Friend With Rheumatoid Arthritis
Review: Bobbie lives in a nursing home and has reached that point in her life where her body is against her. This phone helps. The buttons are huge but the two buttons that make a difference to her are not initially obvious:The H-F button. H-F stands for “Hands-Free.” It’s the button that makes her NOT have to pick up and use the receiver (traditional, handheld). The M1, M2, and/or M3 buttons at the top are for storing her daughter’s phone number so she doesn’t have to remember it or make her hands punch it in.If you live someone who has trouble manipulating the phone, this may be worth a try. It works for Bobbie.

Title: Bought for my mom
Review: I bought this for my mom, who lives in a nursing home, and can’t call people anymore because her hands shake. Not only that, but the phones the home has for them have all the electronics and mechanics in the handset, including the push buttons: this meant it was hard to hold it up to her ear, because it was heavy, and that she would often hit the buttons accidentally with her ear, even disconnect the call sometimes. This phoone is easy for her to dial, and the handset is light and easy to hold. She loves it!If it doesn’t hold up well, I’ll come back and add to my review.

Title: Do not recommend for use in a home with multiple phones or a VOIP phone line
Review: The phone itself was what I expected for the price. Not great but not the worst. I got it for the big buttons and speaker phone while my elderly mom was in rehab and needed a easier to use phone for the room. The problem of it answering call on its own became apparent after I brought her and it home from the rehab facility and plugged it in at home. Not sure if the problem was the fact is was one of a couple phones using a common phone line (separate jacks) or if it had to do with my phone is VOIP that comes in with my cable and internet service before being split so each room has a phone jack. It seemed to be accessing the phone line even when no one was using it. For example, you would answer a call on another other phone plugged into a different jack, then after the call was hung up, the “in use” light on this phone would be lit up even though no one touched this phone. I found the “in use” light active multiple times even when we didn’t answer using this phone. I would then have to pick up the handset and reset a time or two it to get a dial tone back. Not sure why it was doing this but ended up disconnecting it and throwing it out since I’d had it for months before I realized what it was doing.

Title: It works ok. Nice large buttons. Ringer is not adjustable. No instruction with phone.
Review: It is an ok phone. Unfortunately, the ringer is not adjustable and I thought I would able to program the number buttons for speed dial as well but could not. The 3 speed dial buttons at the top work well. I do LOVE that there is no emergency/SOS button. I had bought another and ended up calling 911 by mistake.

Title: Ease of use and size
Review: I bought this phone for a desktop land line phone and it is perfect in size, sound quality both hands free and non hands free plus the redial button works fine. My only complaint is that the instructions that came with it are poorly written in regard to how to actually set up the three memory buttons, M1, M2, M3 for automatic calling again of stored numbers. Better than a phone I recently returned to a retail store that had too many complicated buttons plus, it did not work. I’m happy with the Tyler TBBP-3-WH

Title: Exactly what I wanted
Review: Exactly what I wanted. Hard to figure out how to program the numbers, but once I did, the preset buttons worked. No volume control but it’s for my dad who is almost blind, not deaf or hard of hearing. Volume is decent enough for us. He can see the big buttons or push the preset numbers. I did put black marker on the speaker and preset buttons so he could see them better. The writing is smaller on those. Nice to be able to use the speaker and bypass the corded handset as it is very short. Price is right. Delivered on time. Easy to use once programmed.

Title: GREAT PHONE!
Review: I’ve been looking for a phone to buy for my grandparents because its become more and more difficult for them to see the smaller numbers on the phones that are being sold these days, especially with the direction technology is going. So for me it was important that i buy them a phone with big numbers, loud volume and good quality in the event of emergencies but of course to make sure they are able to make daily phone call.. I was hesitant to buy this because of some of the negative reviews i was reading prior to my purchase but after my grandparents telling me that the phone is great, I’m happy that i bought this for them.

Title: Speakerphone turns on randomly
Review: Ghostly feature – the hands-free speakerphone turns on by itself whenever we light the stove. Somehow the electric ignition on the stove turns on the speakerphone which is located several feet away in the kitchen. Perhaps the phone’s internal wiring is not properly shielded. Other than that (which was why we returned the device), the phone is pretty easy to use. Audio quality is poor, but not unexpected for this price point.
