Ultimate Hunter Valley NSW Wine Tour

Ultimate Hunter Valley NSW Wine Tour

Hunter Valley Wine Tour – we review 5 boutique wineries, dine on delicious gourmet food, browse local markets, and even discover a fragrant lavender farm. However, not everything goes according to plan!

In today’s travel vlog day trip, we journey two hours north of Sydney, Australia, to the beautiful village of Broke Fordwhich for a Hunter Valley Wine Tasting experience at “A Little Bit Of Broke” festival.

The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest and largest wine producing region, but Broke is a little bit off the beaten track. Surrounded by rolling green vineyards and the picturesque Brokenback Mountain Range, we taste some amazing vintages, and also try wine that wasn’t quite to our taste.
So pour yourself a red, or a white, or even a bubbles, and let us guide you through a busy day in the Hunter Valley Wineries.

In this video, we cover:
– the top highlights of the “A Little Bit Of Broke” wine festival
– our opinions on wine tastings at different vineyards in the Broke region
– picturesque landscapes, food, markets and a visit to a lavender farm

Why watch?
– discover the lesser-known wine producing village of Broke
– get a firsthand look at some of the best wineries in the Hunter Valley
– inspiration and tips on visiting “A Little Bit Of Broke” wine festival

🌍 Hi, we’re Lydia & Chris, the Roving Balys! 🌍

As an empty nest couple from Newcastle, Australia, we’ve traveled the world together for 30 years. We started this vlog to share our travel tales and showcase our beautiful region. We met traveling around Europe in 1995 and have since visited 50+ countries. We love discovering new places, meeting people, and trying local cuisines (including gluten-free options).

Our journey has evolved from backpacking to family travel, and now back to couple adventures. With the kids doing their own thing, we’re ready to dust off our backpacks (now suitcases) and start new adventures. So grab a cup of coffee and come roving with us!
