Review: Great lamp. Love the design and look. All the buttons are on the lamp where they are easy to use. It folds back and holds position solidly and reliably. Great lamp to have if you do crafts or simply want to see without having the lamp in front of you.

Title: Just What I Wanted in a Replacement Desk Lamp
Review: This is a nice desk lamp. Some other reviewers complained about construction, but the one I received is well built. As the description noted, you need a decent overhang to mount the lamp. The tension on the flexible arm was perfect as received, making adjustment easy and still supporting the lamp even at full extension. The long extension offered by this design was a stong selling point for me. Note that the magnifying lens is held in place by a “turn to lock” ring on the underside of the light, and the lens can easily come out if this ring loosens. Mine was OK as received, but actually loosened as I was cleaning fingerprints off the lens with a cloth using a circular motion. After that experience, I’ve found it convenient to just take the lens out to clean it, then re-install it and lock it back in place. The light is bright enough, and the ability to adjust the color tone to your preference is a nice feature. My color vision is red-weak, and it’s nice to use the cooler tones that make colors pop. Magnification is clear.

Review: I bought a swing arm lamp many years ago. 75 watts, twist switch on the back, not very long. I’ve rebuilt it 2x in 36 years and it’s been dented and beat to heck. I build and repair lots of small things and work with my hands a lot. My wife and I craft, crochet, knit and sew.When my arms started to be too short I started using magnifying glasses (not readers) for the small stuff. Those, unfortunately require a free hand. Then my lamp went out (switch gave out), so I went for the upgrade.This wasn’t the most expensive (nor was it the cheapest) but had the features that I (and my wife) would most benefit from. I bought two.Took one out and set it up. Absolutely brilliant! Variable brightness and color control, longer reach and built in magnifying glass. Draws low power and the clamp will fit on nearly everything. This was ready to go right out of the box. I wrapped the other one.Even though it wasn’t really her main gift for Christmas, it was her hands down favorite. She was setting it up before the wrapping paper was picked up.

Review: Works well. Nice amount of light. The light color is easy to adjust to your liking. Less wobble and holds position better than others I’ve had. It has a nice, usable reach and the magnifier is of good optic quality. I have this on my electronic bench where I do a lot of smd soldering and love it.
