Title: Sort of functions, not great
Review: I guess if someone just leaks a little this could be ok. The bag isn’t all that large so if the wearer just pees a little bit, it could help with that. If someone has a large bladder, the bag could fill up easily and the hoses do fit together ok but if the bag was full and heavy there’s a decent chance the hoses may come apart so it would leak.It doesn’t seal all that well when up against the body and would work best if the person is standing up. If one was laying down, they’d probably get some in the bag but a fair amount not in the bag.You could use duct tape and wrap that around the spots where the hoses connect to help ensure those don’t come apart but I’m. It sure how much you could do to create a good deal against the body.I don’t know what medical grade devices look or function like but I suspect they must be higher quality materials and have a more secure seal against the body.Overall, I’d call this somewhat functional but so t hold your breath that the wearer would stay high and dry. There’s almost a guarantee there will be some leakage and a mess to be cleaned up unless the wearer is standing up and doesn’t squirt mush in the bag.
