Title: Loupes Like This One Are Great, When You Need Convent Magnification At a Bench
Review: Quality Optics made a fine clip on loupe, and Amazon delivered it pronto and safe. When I need close vision this loupe obscures a bit of my left eye vision, but allows allows quick high magnification vision when an object is held 2 or 3 inches in front of my left eye. I own a dozen magnification tools, and for some jobs this beats them all for convenience.

Review: Large folding plastic loupe.A huge folding magnifier that is over 160mm long when opened and the cover/handle is about 36mm thick. Closed it is 93mm by 60mm by 35mm. Too large IMO for convenient pocket carry. Clear aperture is about 46mm. Definitely NOT 10 power when compared to a Belomo 10X Hastings Triplet loupe but not as exaggerated power as many Chinese made magnifier claims.. Much closer magnification to the Carson LumiLoupe 5X Lighted Magnifier. Both are two air spaced element magnifiers that do a nice job of magnifying and provide large enough lenses for a wide view and decent magnification with minimal distortion. Too low a power for work like proper gem appraisal which per industry standards requires a true 10X loupe.As of 5/22 I note that the seller is no longer making any magnifying power claim for the large folding loupe.10x Hastings Triplet LoupeNice all metal construction Hastings triplet loupe. This is a true cemented glass triplet as I disassembled it to check for that. Excellent construction for the price as the cover is a staked or riveted assembly so there should be little chance of the loupe disassembling itself, common with screwed together versions per reviews. The included case is heavy gauge leather, similar to the Belomo loupe case. As with many loupes the listed aperture of 21mm is for the uninstalled optical element. Actual installed clear aperture is closer to 19.5mm. Loupe body is quite compact at 36mm long including the lanyard attachment by 24mm thick and wide. Optically excellent for the very reasonable price.

Review: I had one and it disappeared so either the cat or the wife are enjoying the numerous benefits of magnified mono vision. So I got another one. Sometimes a guy has just gotta get a good close look at the smaller things in life, and this is the proper way to go about it. It firmly attaches to the side of your glasses, and after a brief positional adjustment the lenses are properly adjusted to the focal point proximal to the pupil for the ultimate viewing experience. Be prepared for hours of near micro exploration of your otherwise dull and tedious world. If you have the task oriented tenacity and attention to detail, this little guy will slay the dragon of getting up close and personal with whatever is the thing you wanna magnify. Improve the quality of your life, live better and invest endless hours getting a different look at the world around you. Also good for finding tiny slivers in your finger, like what I use it mostly for. 5 stars. would use it again. Probably for sure. Definite (very strong possibility) fersure.

Title: Solid and Good Quality Glass
Review: Just got these yesterday and have tried them out a bit today. I bought a similar product from Harbor Freight and used it for a bit, but those lenses are lower quality. These ones are a bit heavier, but that’s due to a more solid shift, and thicker higher quality glass. I have no significant problems so far, but have only been wearing them a few hours.I’ll mention, too, that I 3D printed an attachment for my glasses, so I can’t comment on the effectiveness of the alligator clip.You’ll notice in my image that there are only 2 lenses, but that’s just because I removed 1.I also appreciate how well it was packaged, and that the included a nice cleaning cloth with it.

Review: This item is not branded with ‘Quality Optics’ logo as pictured. It is the same as any other generic lens I could have paid a third of the price for. Very disappointed! Works OK but I expected a better quality build. Go for it if you want something basic but don’t pay this price, pick one up on Amazon or Ebay for $10.
