Title: Everything I hoped it would be
Review: I shipped hard for this. It came, is heavy duty, and does everything you could ask for. The quality was great. If does not get heavy use, so I can’t tell if anything deteriorates with use, but it looks like exactly what I wanted – great quality, good features, and decent price.This one has a stand OR it can be mouted to a table. Also, very important, it has the light switches in the head.Another very important thing to know is that the base is solid and heavy enough to allow for a decent range of extension without clipping it to the table or desk. Yes, it can fall, but I’m saying it’s about the best you could expect under these conditions. Great range of motion, long extensions arms and flexible.Honestly I’m not sure it could be improved on.

Review: This works very well on my bench top for my jewelry metalsmithing. I am using the base because my bench doesn’t have enough clearance to use the clamp. It is very versatile in terms of movement making working much easier. My only comment is that, despite the base being heavy, if you extend the arm completely on a horizontal axis, it will tilt. I have place a heavy object on the base to prevent this. Obviously, not everyone is going to need to extend the base like I do but my bench is packed with tools so I need to do that.

Title: Large clear viewing area
Review: I returned two other magnifying lights before I purchased this. Look no further, this is the best. It has a large viewing area with great magnification, the stand is heave and stable, or you can use the clamp on, which is an awesome space saver. The arm moves smoothly and the magnifying portion also can be adjusted to tilt at different angles. Happy I found this one. I am a silversmith and now doing permanent jewelry, and it really helps to see those small jump rings.

Review: He likes the three variable light settings. He likes the hardware to attach to a desk, or attach to a nicely weighted base. He likes the magnifying glass, too. He is excited he now is able to see the smallest details and parts for building models, his coin collection and reading. High Quality of materials, too; A great gift for the price.
