Title: Good lamp that overall works well if you don’t mind pushing the on button several times first.
Review: I bought this lamp to have a brightly lit magnifying glass that allowed me to do hands-free work. What I like about it is that it is sturdy, has a rectangular magnifying glass (not round, which tends to distort the image), and has adjustable lights, (warm, balanced, cool), and adjustable brightness. I can turn it down and rotate the head away to act as a soft indirect light, too. What I don’t like is that you have to press the on/off button several times to get it to turn on. I looked on the internet for possible causes and it appears to be due to an underpowered power supply (LED driver). It’s done this since the day that I unboxed it, and the second lamp I bought for another room does the same thing, so I think it is a design problem. Still, it’s not enough of an annoyance that I want to return it.

Title: Good light Great magnification
Review: I got this for my wife’s craft table. She likes it, she said the magnification is a little too strong. Now it shows All of the tiny bubbles in her epoxy projects. Lol

Title: Magnificent
Review: This thing is magnificent. We all know how many pairs of readers we have laying around the house and can’t find one. It’s so nice to have a permanent solution for cookbooks. The base fits beneath a normal cookbook reader and with the light makes a marvelous new set of eyes. I would have engineering work in a few more range of motion options but otherwise marvelous.

Title: This illuminated magnifier frees both hands to read fine print on medication and in cookbooks.
Review: With changes in our eyesight, reading small print on medication has become a problem. This illuminated magnifier is installed near where we take our daily medications. The light is powered from a nearby counter receptacle, and the pivoting adjustable arm allows us to position the magnifier to read fine-print medication instructions using both hands. Using a handheld magnifying glass was inconvenient. With both hands free, we can easily peel back labels to read. Likewise, it helps us read small notes in our cookbooks. The magnifier comes with two mounting options. We used the clamp to attach it to the edge of our countertop. No drilling was required.

Title: Really good quality, with a reservation on design
Review: This magnifying lamp has a weighted base that provides good stability. The manufacturer included a Hex L Wrench that’s used to tighten the screw that holds the socket to the base. And, thoughtfully, an extra screw as well. The main arm of the lamp slips into the socket and a knob is tightened to secure it in place. Here’s where the design is limited. The arm only extends forward, not to either side. In other words, it doesn’t rotate. It can only be used in the forward position, which is okay as, in theory, you’ll always be positioning the magnifier over your work. But I would have liked the option to move the lamp more freely. You can tilt it up, down, and slightly forward and back. So I guess that’s a workaround.I bought this lamp to work on cross stitch, using fabrics with small threads that are hard to see without some magnification and good light. The 10X magnification was a selling point for me as most lamps have much less. The 10X allows me to see even 22 count fabric easily. The manufacturer does not provide a protective sleeve for the lamp head, which is a disappointment. As a fine instrument, it would be sensible to have a sleeve to slip over the head when it’s not in use. That would protect the magnifying lens and light from dust, etc. I found that a sock works beautifully when the lamp is on my table.I haven’t yet done any extensive work with the magnifying lamp, so I’ll have to update this review after I’ve used it for a while. But, so far, it meets my hopes, with a couple of design flaws. In this price range, I believe the manufacturer could have made those design adjustments easily without adding much to their production costs.
