Title: Good old days are here again
Review: Looks just like the real thing I remember as a kid. Very easy to setup. The sound quality is very clear. It even functions just like a real phone from back in the day. Love the included volume control. Great value for the money.

Title: Vintage phone
Review: Wonderful for elderly folks with vision problems. Simply pick up, talk and hang up to operate. The volume control does not help for those with a bit of hearing loss.

Title: Nostalgia!
Review: Nostalgia is why I ordered this phone which I am actually using, instead of just displaying it on a shelf as I had originally planned. There are some things that I used way back in the day that are no longer around. This telephone, which is a very close replica of the style phone my family and I used, brings back the nostalgia of those days when life was simple, being without all of the technology of today. This phone is very close to the original and functions pretty much like the original. This phone is very close to the original and also differs from the original that we received from Michigan Bell in the following ways:1.) This phone works well and without any problems.2.) This phone is lighter in weight than the original. This is not negative in my opinion, just something to make you aware of.3.) The handset has a volume slider on it, which the original that we used did not. Perhaps there were different versions of the phone and some did have the volume control on the handset.4.) The buttons feel just as I recall the original buttons felt when dialing a phone number. Each button press is nice and smooth without any issues with being stuck or not resetting back to their original position.5.) Just below the buttons, there is the rectangular space to write in the phone number for the telephone line that rings through to the phone. It has the plastic cover to hold the slip of paper I place and to protect it from moisture.6.) The base of the phone is metal, just like the original.7.) Located on the base is a two position switch for the ringer. The switch will either turn the ringer off or turn it back on. There is no way to adjust the volume of the ringer like the original.8.) The back of this phone has a data port next to the line for use for faxing or dial-up internet, Lol!9.) This phone uses an actual bell for ringing and not some electronic type of ringer. The ring volume is sufficient but not as loud as the original.10.) The base has circular rubber feet on each corner, just like the original.11.) The build quality of this phone is great. Nothing about it feels like it will fall apart.12. Included is a small pocket phone book for writing in all of your contact phone numbers. This was a nice addition.13.) There’s a phone cord included but it’s on the short side so I will purchase a longer one so I can move around the room while on the phone just like back in the day!I am pleased with this retro analog landline phone.I recommend it.I hope this helps.

Title: Crackling sound on line
Review: The phone has a horrible crackle sound in it. I can’t tell if it’s from the phone line or from the phone but my phone line coming in is off of my Internet line and it’s coming off of fiber so I’m not quite sure how my fiber telephone line could be making such a horrendous noise. The phone is really not even usable. I’m gonna have to buy another one.

Title: Aesthetic & Functional
Review: Cool old-school phone with solid buttons and a satisfying feel. Works great, but I’m actually turning it into a microphone. Either way—fun piece.

Title: Reminds me of Ma Bell/Vintage Retro Landline Phone
Review: I will not miss the rotary dial though. This is a very close replica of the phones we used back in the day. It feels like it’s a tad bit lighter in weight but the quality of the plastic is pretty close. You also can’t unscrew the cover on the handheld and check out the inner particulates (which is what we used to do as kids). The beige color just screams living room with the sofa covered in plastic era. I got it primarily for emergency purposes in the event cell service goes down. It has both a phone line and data line . Of course, no one has called me on it but if I press down on the clear nubs for hanging up, I can hear a faint thrilling. 40 bucks for peace of mind is a good deal.

Title: It’s an awesome old phone
Review: Love this phone. It is functional and exactly what it should be and how they use to be when this was all we had to communicate with. I got this to play restaurant with my 5 year old so we just use it for pretend but he gets a kick out of it and it’s fun. I can’t speak to how it works and rings but it is a good quality phone.

Title: Cool Retro Phone
Review: This is a really cool 80’s vibe retro telephone with push button features to dial. It’s easy to install and plug into a landline if you still have one. Even if you don’t , you apparently can still plug the phone into a land line and dial 911 for an emergency even if you don’t have phone service set up. I got the phone mostly for a prop for an art project. It fits the bill perfectly! It’s just as pictured and comes with a cute little telephone book to write numbers in if you want, though I don’t think I’ll be using that. Very retro indeed, yet is brand new and super clean.
