Title: Book fine…but price?
Review: Seriously disturbing…paid $39 for a used book (at least 3 times over) and it says $2 on the cover. Someone made some serious profit in this. Jacking up prices for a textbook that is 4 yrs old is more like price gouging.

Title: Lots of fluff
Review: I had to purchase this for my art class. There are way too many links to external websites and many links are no longer valid. When explaining key concepts, there are a couple of lines of explanation then paragraphs of examples. Sometimes the definitions/explanations get lost in the examples. I doubt I will ever refer back to this textbook during the remainder of my classes in college.

Title: Professors suggest this as a college textbook??
Review: The writing is terrible and doesn’t really explain what the topic is. As mentioned by other reviews, it slightly covers the main topic in each chapter but then goes off in a completely different direction. Some examples barely even reflect what it’s trying to be an example of.

Title: Doesn’t teach anything
Review: All it does is mention (not explain or describe) a concept and then spend the next 20 pages giving examples. If you’re buying this for a class, don’t bother. There’s nothing this book gives you to help you learn the material.
