Review: This phone ring tone amplifier is very easy to install and operates mainly based on the power of the phone line itself. The device has two ports. One connects to your landline’s wall cord. The second port marked “tel” attaches via the included cord to your phone. Basically the device simply goes between your phone and your wall connection for the phone.You can install three batteries (not included) which allows you to increase the brightness of the strobe lights. The strobe lights up when the phone rings and after to alert you to a call.The device allows you to put the ring tone volume on “low,” “high,” or “off.” Low volume was a bit higher than the normal volume for our land line phone. High was very loud—- three rooms away loud. I think it is a good volume for someone who struggles to hear the phone. The actual volume does not come through on my video because my iPad auto adjusted the sound level. I assure you the device really worked well. I also liked the strobe light even without the addition of batteries. You can actually turn off the ringer volume and rely solely on the strobe lights if you wish.This is a simple device that works very well and solves a problem for those having trouble hearing the phone ringer.

Title: Very loud
Review: Got this for my wife because she’s hard of hearing has a flashing light that she notices. When the phone rings, it takes AAA batteries to amplify the audio and the light compared to other units that are just using the telephone line for power. This unit is substantially louder and the flashing light is easily noticed. It’s also easy to install, and very practical on shops and other noisy areas.

Title: Not as loud as hoped.
Review: On high setting it is louder than my phone but not really as loud as I had hoped. It is a higher frequency sound as well and doesn’t penetrate walls as well. Overall it’s ok for same room use but not really an unavoidable, hard-not-to-hear-it kind of ringer. It uses 3 AA batteries and I planned on converting it to a 5v wall plug but I don’t think I’ll bother. Still looking.

Review: This Telephone Ringer Amplifier is nice. I wanted it for when I am on call at work and also when I am sleeping, I don’t hear my phone…this device is loud and when it rings, it has a bright flashing white light and that coupled with the ring is enough for me to hear it.
